Josophan's offers luxury B&B accommodation in a spacious studio suite, just 3 minutes drive either to the village shops, galleries and restaurants of Leura Mall or bustling central Katoomba. The suite adjoins the main mud brick residence, sharing just one common wall. With its own separate entry, ensuite bathroom, living area, dining area and kitchenette, Josophan’s offers a private and peaceful alternative to traditional shared living area B&B accommodation.

Nestled amongst an acre of park like grounds with sweeping lawns, bordering onto bushland, as guests Josophan’s offers you the opportunity to wake to the view from your bed, through cedar French doors, of huge Mountain Ash gums, or the sun filtering through the gums at sunset, from your private deck.

Guests at Josophan’s will be pampered with complimentary Gilchrist & Soames luxury toiletries, quality linen and towels, generous breakfast provisions or gourmet cheese platter, and complimentary port and chocolates.

Romantic couples weekend packages and family packages are available, with reduced rates for longer stays. Restaurant bookings, theatre tickets or adventure sports such as canyoning, rockclimbing and mountain biking can be organised for guests in advance.

Suite facilities

Extremely well equipped, the suite contains a CD player, VCR, DVD, flat screen tv, hair dryer, umbrella, iron & board, bar fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, glassware, crockery, cutlery and utensils. A selection of videos and dvd’s are available for borrowing without charge. A comprehensive directory of local attractions, restaurants, services and bushwalks is also provided.

With a choice of either a cosy woodburning slow combustion fire or convenient electric heating, warmth during the cool mountain winter is guaranteed. Comfort is assured in the queen size four poster bed with woollen underblanket, electric blanket and doona, and children or extra guests can be accommodated on the double sofa bed, also with a snug woollen doona. Babies in travel cots are most welcome.
