Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
1. DEFINITIONS
Booking means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.
Property means SKYlinks House, 5449 Merion Terrace, Sanctuary Cove, 4221 and all its Fixtures, Fittings, Vehicles and Equipment.
Management means the Owners and Managers of the Property.
Guests means the Persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking.
Visitor means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking.
All times quoted are Queensland time (AEST).
2. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY.
Payment of the Deposit constitutes Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. CHECK IN/ OUT
Check-in time is from 2pm on the arrival date. Departure time is by 11.00am on departure date.
Early arrival and/or late departure are subject to prior arrangement and availability. Extra charges may apply.
Please notify Management of expected arrival time and a mobile contact number at least 2 days before arrival.
4. PAYMENT
A deposit of $500 minimum must be received within 24 hours of receipt of this email; (within 48 hours if stay is later than 30 days of today's date). Bookings cannot be confirmed unless and until this deposit is received.
Payment in Full must be received no later than 7 days (3 weeks in peak periods) prior to your arrival.
All cheques must be cleared prior to arrival.
Payments of the amount due must be received in $ Australian net of any bank or other transaction charges.
Please ensure payments are made within the specified time limits, as the Booking will otherwise cancel automatically without notice to you.
We accept payment by the following methods:
Direct Deposit into the bank account nominated on your confirmation advice; clear cheque or money order.
Please use your booking Surname and First Initial as the reference for identification purposes.
5. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION
If you wish to vary or cancel a booking, please contact us immediately on the phone numbers atached to your booking confirmation.
Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation WHERE LESS THAN 60 DAYS NOTICE IS GIVEN.
A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of nights stay will be a treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those nights.
We have a minimum night stay policy from 2 NIGHTS. No refund will be made for a variation to the extent that it breaches our minimum night stay policy.
6. SECURITY BOND
A credit card authorisation of one night's accommodation must be RECEIVED TO CONFIRM your Booking. This amount will be held as pre-authorised, until such time as our property has been inspected. We agree to ensure this occurs within 5 working days of your departure.
Any damage or loss will of course be at your cost and will be charged to your credit card. Examples include, but are not limited to, any breakage, lost keys, damage or excess cleaning requirements and theft.
Smoking is not permitted in the Property at any time.
7. UNAVAILABILITY
Should the Property should become unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. fire, storm, damage, etc.), Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupation. Failing this, any monies received will be refunded in full.
8. PARTIES & FUNCTIONS
SKYhouse and SKYlinks House are NOT PARTY HOUSES. Parties and functions require prior written approval at the time of Booking. Guests remain responsible for all persons attending. We ask that you respect the tranquillity of the environment and avoid disturbing neighbours.
9. LINEN AND TOWELS
We supply linen, pillows, blankets and bath towels only where specified. A Mattress Protector is provided on all beds.
Where the booking is made without the LINEN option, guests must provide their own sheets or other bed coverings, pillows and towels.
Cleaning and linen change, where appropriate, occurs weekly during your stay and of course when the property is vacated.
10. PETS
A Well behaved family Dog MAY be considered at the Property, upon application. Dog owners are responsible for the environs of the property. Pets are not allowed on furniture or carpeted areas at any time.
11. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Only those guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If any other guests stay extra charges will apply.
We would appreciate it, if before departure, you deposit all rubbish into the appropriate council rubbish bins provided and leave the property in as neat a state as possible.
The property must be vacated on time and fully secured. All keys must be redeposited with Sanctuary Cove Security at the Roundhouse. If keys are lost you will be responsible for the cost of replacement to the amount of approx. $100. Duplicate keys will be provided if requested up to 2 sets in total.
