Beautiful architecturally designed home with magnificent views of Jervis Bay from both downstairs and upstairs. A leisurely flat stroll to the beach and the pristine waters of the bay where you can fish, swim, snorkel, dive, walk or just sit and relax and watch the dolphins and whales go by.
The home has five bedrooms tastefully decorated and comfortably sleeping up to 12. The bedding consists of three queen beds, a double / single bunk, bunk beds and a king single as well as a two port-a-cots. The high Western Red Cedar ceilings have a bank of skylights in the living area which offer great tree top views during the day and a celestial panorama at night. The layout provides a spacious open air ambiance.
The large sun drenched deck offers a great place to sit and relax enjoy the views while barbequeing, watching the family games in the large back yard and maybe receive a visit from the resident Kookaburra.
The hidden secret passage is a hit with the kids and adults alike. See who can find it first!
With ample off street parking and a large garage where you can all play pool, ping pong or just an inside place for the kids to play. The home is in a choice quiet location with great restaurants, the golf course, cycleway, national parks, old Husky Picture Theatre and local shopping all nearby.

An extra shower and vanity has been installed on the ground floor. A queen bed has been installed in the downstairs area as well. This may suit nan and pop or any who cannot climb stairs as everything can now be accessed on one level.
If you wish to make additional savings on your stay you can elect to bring you own linen, just ask us for what discount applies.
Now is a great time to head to Jervis Bay because you may catch a look at the whales, as they pass by Jervis Bay heading North.
Nature and National Parks
Located close to National Parks, such as Booderee and Jervis Bay, there are many spectacular locations and fantastic bush walking opportunities nearby.
The range of walks include many levels of difficulty. some are close to the ocean, easy, level and suit the whole family whilst others are challenge the more adventurous. If you're new to the area we can advise of some walks and activities that might suit your group.
For those seeking a more relaxed adventure we can arrange a group discount on Dolphin Watch tours for your enjoyment. Dolphin Watch seeks out Whales, Dolphins, Seals and offer an Echo Tour of the awesome sheer cliff faces and caves in the area, be sure to bring your camera!
We have three push bikes at Chez Shar, bring your own helmets if this is your thing.

We were travelling as 2 families (4 adults, 4 children) and Chez Shar was perfect in accommodating all our needs. It was incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. Anything that we could have wanted was there, and the children loved finding and hiding in the secret passage, feeding the friendly kookaburra and playing in the games room. The area is lovely to visit, family friendly with beautiful beaches and yummy restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend this property.

What a Fantastic Holiday property. All the facilities for the family. Pool Table, Table Tennis, Darts. Spacious living areas and kitchen, together with an abundance of bedrooms. Owner is very accommodating and keeps in touch to ensure a smooth holiday experience. Very clean house, with a fantastic outlook and short walk to a beautiful beach. Thank you for a relaxing holiday.

The house was spacious and clean and accommodated our 11 people, 4 generations of family. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom perfect for great-grandma. Cots/high chair/stair gates/toddler plates really useful. Great location only a few minutes walk to the beach, lovely views from the verandah. David and Sharon were a pleasure to deal with. House was fantastic for us for the stay, the accommodation for Jess
was perfect she was able to socialise with everyone wihtout any stairs
involved particularly when she had a fall the night before we left
Moree. The added bonus of the wedding party being able to get ready

We just had our Easter holiday at Chez Shar and loved it! 4 families - 8 adults and 5 children, had loads of room. The house is perfect for a large group with the huge kitchen, big dining table, big yard and balcony and space to spread out in the house. Water views were a lovely bonus! David and Sharon were delightful to deal with and managed all our requests with ease and good humour. The homely touches (toy in cot etc) were lovely and best of all the house was spotlessly clean and in very good condition. Beautiful beaches and the White Sands walk just a couple minutes down the road, and shops a short drive away. Thanks David and Sharon - we'll be back!!

The house was super clean, with great features and lots of light. only a stroll to a really nice beach, we had a lovely time although the weather decided to only join the party intermittently.
All in all a great place to stay. I will definitely recommend it.

A lovely house with amazing views and surrounds.
Plenty of room for the 7 kids to run around and keep themselves entertained, and still more room for the adults to kick back and relax.
Wondefully friendly and helpful landlords too, thank you so much for everything David and Sharon, your hospitality and assistance by far exceeded anything we could have asked for :)

My family & I stayed at the wonderful Chez Shar for the weekend. Spacious & immaculately clean throughout the entire house. Waking up to the sounds of laughing kookaburras & ocean waves was a bonus to our little stay. Including the morning sun shining on you while having breakfast out on the balcony with the surroundings of friendly wild life. Close to village shops & a mid point to the beautiful attractions & hot spots the bay offers to entertain family. I am looking forward to booking here again for a longer stay, we loved it..
