Your dog can enjoy The Hide too.

Because The Hide is so private and enclosed you may like to have your dog come with you. There are farm animals and native animals around so Fido needs to be under your care at all times. Endless walks are available from our gate and Fido can relax inside with you after a day of relaxing!
We are sorry but experience has led us to have a policy of not permitting dogs or pets to be left unattended inside or outside The Hide at any time. Please visit our website and FAQ to view our pet friendly conditions.
Many people like to enjoy the wonderful massages offered in the area. As we do not allow dogs to be left unattended at The Hide we recommend an in-house massage offered by a number of great local masseurs or booking massages separately if you are coming as a couple or group of people. In warmer months it is not advisable to leave your dog(s) in the car whilst having a massage.

  • "We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the ability to walk straight out the door and feel part of the landscape. Coming to The Hide was like a home away from home except we could just relax and enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about the usual chores. Bella and Zoro loved their first ever holiday and are looking forward to the next time."

  • "Excellent style & decor (which means a lot to me as I am an interior designer!) Lovely comfy bed and fab new bathroom with beautiful soft towels. Great kitchen facilities. Great view & surrounds. Overall, your hospitality & pride in the place is what makes it so outstanding. The details are what makes it, e.g. the home produce & fantastic bread you left us, the chocolates, the great selection of movies and books & all the info on the area & your farm. I can see you strive for excellence and youve achieved it! Excellent price for what you get. Thank you so much Rachel & Ryan, Thornbury."

  • "An absolute delightful get away to find some inner peace and remove ourselves from the hustle and bustle of city and suburban life. Perfectly placed windows to capture the landscape. The hide keeps you firmly grounded with a sense of earthiness and serenity. We loved everything about the hide and would definitely come back again to recharge our inner batteries when life gets a bit hectic. Thank-you Sue for your hospitality."

  • "This is the perfect place for a Hide away from the business of city life. A little cosy paradise with many cute visitors from the wilderness. Loved watching the geese family waddle across the field and dam, the roos hopping freely, the moos nibbling the hays, warmth from the sun, etc. Enjoyed every moment here. We will definitely return again. Cant wait to try out the Ned Kelly Wood Heater next time. Thank you Sue & Lisa for the lovely hospitality. Woof Woof. Helen C & Chow Mein"

  • "For "me" to day relaxing...it truly is. Beautiful surrounds. Friendly and caring hosts. Loved the animals. If anything the webpage does not do this place justice."

  • "Sue and Lisa, thank you so much for helping to make our stay so enjoyable. You were both a wealth of information, and I enjoyed getting to know you and your animals on the farm. We will stay again and recommend to friends! D & T"

  • "Such a cosy relaxing place. The vistas are gorgeous, makes it hard to leave. Bella and Jonah, especially loved swimming in the dam and lying the warm fire. It's lovely to hear and watch the wildlife passing through. I think Jonah believed the cow in the paddock was a big playful dog as she took her ball down to it. Thank you for your warm hospitality and we especially loved the loaf of home made bread and the art work! Jen, Collette, Bella and Jonah"
