Escape to Quinninup Mill Cottage- a fully self-contained timber mill house set on a private 1/4 acre. Enjoy the forest views and native birdlife from your very own sun-drenched timber deck, equipped with gas barbeque. Wildlife abounds in this tranquil and private setting. The stunning karri forest is right accross the road for you to enjoy.
Walk to Karri Lake or embark on the 3 self-guided nature walks (King Karri Walk, Orchid Walk and the Ridgeback Walk). See Australian wildflowers in Spring, directly across the road from the cottage, including Hibbertia, Hovea, Coral Creeper, Hardenbergia, Clematis and Orchids.
The Warren River is nearby for fishing or canoeing. Quinninup is close to Pemberton, the Shannon National Park, Northcliffe, Windy Harbour and about an hour from Walpole and the Treetop Walk. There are numerous wineries, the Lavender and Berry Farm, Pemberton tram, Diamond Tree lookout, the Cascades and many other tourist attractions within a 20 minute drive from the cottage.
The house has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway or a family adventure. Awake to the smell of freshly baked bread (breadmaker and mix supplied); snuggle up in front of a roasting fire; tip toe outside in the early morning or late afternoon to catch a glimpse of the local kangaroos and other wildlife; enjoy a glass of wine with the sunset on the verandah. It's all waiting for you to enjoy.
