"Moontana" is a 2010 built Rivergum home located a short 300m walk from the beautiful and secluded Simms Cove, Moonta Bay. Comprising of 4 bedrooms (see description below), large open plan kitchen/lounge area, 2 bathrooms, reading room and laundry with washing machine.
Fully equipped kitchen with stove top/oven, large fridge, accessories i.e. kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glassware, pots and pans for all your holiday needs for up to 8 people.
Reverse-cycle split system air conditioner in lounge area with 42 inch plasma TV.
Main Bedroom has huge en-suite hidden behind built in robes.
Large paved outside entertaining area with verandah and 4 burner BBQ. Lawn area for kids to play including a recently added large cubby house. Newly added side fence on neighbouring side.
Close to Port Hughes and Moonta Jetties, cafes, general store post/office, tavern, playgrounds, golf courses and the Moonta Mines.
LOCALITY
A popular holiday town with good beaches, jetty and fishing, Moonta Bay is located on the shores of Spencer Gulf 168 kilometres from Adelaide. Its sandy beaches and jetty make this township a real draw card for fishermen, families and holidaymakers alike. While here, take the opportunity to go on a fishing charter, and use local knowledge to find the secret fishing spots for a great catch.
Moonta Bay and Port Hughes are close neighbours of the small business centre of Moonta. The towns are very popular with people in retirement and holidaymakers, especially families. The Port Hughes jetty offers excellent fishing opportunities, and the area is also very popular with boat fishers and charter boats. The beaches are stunning to look at with wide sandy shores, flat clear blue green water and are excellent for families; and the jetty provides beautiful views of the coast and beaches when looking back to the mainland.

Had a great restful visit with friends. Both families had young kids to babies & the place was filled with toys & books which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. So no need to bring any toys or books with you, you will find something there for all ages. The beach is close enough for all the toddlers to walk there which was great. You won't be disappointed.

Very well set up for family holidays. Plenty of room for kids to play and lots of toys, games etc. on hand to keep them amused. We were supposed to have family with us but they couldn't get the time off so it was just my husband and myself - but it was still very comfortably set up and we enjoyed the books on offer to read at the end of our busy days. Thanks Andrew for your assistance every step of the way.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Moontana which is an ideal location for numerous families, with plenty of bedding available and loads of space. Only a quick 5min walk to a nice beach. Very well priced for what you get in comparison to other houses in the area.

We were so thrilled with our stay at Moontana. The presentation was outstanding and house was like new! We couldn't get over the amount of extras that were provided in order to enhance our stay ie. tons of toys, books, games and puzzles (both adult and kids ones), even a playstation etc. It made it such a fabulous family holiday experience. Easily lots of room for 2 families. Thanks so much for providing such a quality accomodation epecially for families. We will definity be back.

Great holiday home for both adults and kids. Cubby house and large selection of toys was a winner for our children. Walking trails along the coastal line from Moonta Bay to Port Hughes are fantastic.

This property is immaculately presented and thoughtfully furnished. There were plenty of toys and games for the kids, as well as a cubby house. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and there is a BBQ and nice outdoor eating area. The bedrooms are immaculate and comfortable. It is a short walk to a very nice beach and a five minute drive in either direction to cafes, takeaway, shops and playground. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We would definitely recommend staying at Moontana. The house was was comfortably large, very clean and decorated beautifully with new and modern furniture. Many extra's include a fantastic book selection, toys and games for the children, pergola, lovely lawn area and cubby house for the kids. We will come back again.

It was very comfortable, clean and nice for my family to stay there.
Especially my daughter fell in love with the big wooden doll house while we were staying.

Moontana was a wonderful getaway for the family, spacious rooms with all the amenities you need for a home away from home. The large outdoor grass area was great for the children to play and proximity to the beach only a stone's throw away. Will definitely visit again in the future....

My stay at moontana was absolutely amazing with a beautiful beach just a short walk away. The house is very well kept and modern. It felt almost wrong paying so little yo stay in this beautiful house. There were no faults at all and the beaches are to die for! I would deffinitly stay her again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moontana, it's very family friendly (lots of toys and books for the kids) and it's beautifully and tastefully decorated with all the modern conveniences you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. We fitted two families in with plenty of space - and could have brought another family with us to be honest due to the massive amount of room and the huge bedrooms with plenty of beds. The location is great too, just a short stroll to the beach, and plenty of outside space which kept our kids amused. We'll be back!!
