Description
'The Camp' Guerilla Bay, is a property set on 50 acres of privately owned bushland on the scenic NSW south coast between Batemans Bay and Moruya.
This beautiful property, which is being offered now for the first time, takes in a headland and runs down to a small beach which is virtually private since it is only accessible to the public by walking trails from the nearby hamlets of Geurilla Bay and Rosedale. This is a secluded and completely private bush retreat which is world class and absolutely unique.
The architecturally designed house, which is a two minute walk from the beach, is a collection of pavilions set in a terraced garden surrounded by rammed earth walls. The pavilions, each with a view through gum trees to the sea, have different functions and are arranged around open courtyards which provide outside living spaces under the tree canopy. The residence was completed five years ago and has featured in several European and Australian design magazines and architectural competitions. The land has been owned by the present owner for over 30 years.
The surrounding area is full of interest and has many walking trails which lead to deserted beaches and rocky coves- all with an abundance of wildlife and fascinating plant, bird and sea life. The spotted gum forests, which run all the way down to the shorelines, are unique to this part of NSW.
The area is close to some of the states most interesting National Trust towns such as Braidwood, Bungendore, Tilba Tilba and Bodalla. Canberra is two hours by car. Malua Bay, which is a five minute drive away has the nearest small shopping centre. The larger towns of Bateman's Bay and Moruya (which has an airport) are approx 20kms.
Facilities
Accommodation: 5 Queen Beds
Linen: Doonas, blankets, pillows, tea towels, place mats, table clothes are provided. Bed Sheets & Towels are not provided. Should you wish to hire bed sheets & towels, this can be arranged at the time of booking for an additional charge.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen which includes - blender, microwave, rice cooker, Miele Dishwasher, Gaggenau gas/electric cook top, oven, large fridge/freezer.
Laundry: Fully equipped laundry which includes - Maytag washing machine, dryer, iron, extra fridge/freezer & chest freezer.
Music & Entertainment: Radio, CD, provision for ipod connection, sound system connections are available throughout all pavilions. DVD player & TV - (Please note TV reception is weather dependent and can sometimes be poor). There is also a selection of games - Monopoly, Playing Cards, Chess, Draughts. Books - mainly art books & biographies.
Mobile Phones: Most mobile phones receive reception. However at times weather dependent, and it may be necessary to move around the house site to find a position of good reception.
Internet Connection: It is possible to access the internet via your own mobile broadband connection (Telstra Mobile Broadband offers most reliable coverage).
Pets: The property is pet friendly but pets must be under control at all times and not permitted to roam free and chase the resident wildlife.
Other: BBQ, beach chairs, beach umbrella, picnic equipment are available for use.

Arrival & Departure
The property will be opened for you prior to your arrival and closed up after your departure. Upon your arrival our caretaker take you through the property and answer any questions.
Pricing & Booking Deposit
The house can accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably.
Weekly: $3850 (7 nights) Incl. School & Public Holidays
Weekend: $1850 (3 night minimum) Off Peak Only
Bond: $ 700
We would require a 50% deposit of the total cost of your accommodation to confirm your booking. The balance & bond are due approx. 3 weeks prior to your arrival.
