The world renowned 12 Apostles are an easy 5minute drive; the awe-inspiring Otway Fly Tree Top Walk is only 30 minutes away along with the surrounding rainforest and amazing waterfalls. The Great Escape is also surrounded by some of the worlds best surf breaks including Gibbson's Steps.
The name says it all, The Great Escape is coastal living at its finest, with a 3-4 minute stroll to the local pub and shops. The Gellibrand River provides suitable swimming in the summer time and endless hours of recreational family fun.
You can relax upstairs overlooking the Gellibrand River on the spacious outdoor entertaining deck equipped with brand new BBQ, enjoying the refreshing sea breeze on hot summer days.

The upper level of the house features the master bedroom with walk through robe to the main bathroom/ensuite, leading into the spacious open plan living/dining and fully equipped state of the art kitchen area, extending to the large wrap-around deck.
DOWNSTAIRS
There are two bedrooms one with Queen size bed and the second accommodates four people, containing a split king size bed with two trundle beds underneath; plasma television and ensuite bathroom with private garden decking. There is also a fully equipped laundry which features a brand new washing machine and clothes dryer and double parking in undercover carport.

Local History
The only visible remains of shipwrecks are on Wreck Beach at Moonlight Head. The Marie Gabrielle and the Fiji were wrecked in 1800's and the anchors from both and other equipment from the Marie Gabrielle can be viewed on Wreck Beach. Care with tides should be exercised and tides for this part of the coast are based on Portland NOT Port Phillip Heads or Apollo Bay. Access the beach throught the Otway National Park. Turn off the Great Ocean Road at Moonlight Head, proceed along the unsealed road for 4 km. The road forks inside the National Park - right fork takes you to Wreck Beach, left fork to Gable Lookout car park and Moonlight Head Cemetary. Nearest towns with shops and petrol etc, Princetown 20km and Lavers Hill 20 km
