Description

The house is situated in a quiet court away from main roads. There is a short walk to the cliff tops where there is a marked nature walk (in a reserve) which goes all the way down to Bells Beach. The beach is accessible with a short walk around the back of the caravan park - you can then walk to the patrolled surf area or head down along the beach in the opposite direction. There are plenty of tracks around the river and the bushland if you are so inclined.

The shops are 10 minute walk away. The shopping centre has lots of cafes, a licensed supermarket and other food and specialty shops. There is a golf course up the hill, along with resident Kangaroos. You can fish in the river or canoe during summer.

The House

Cosy 3 bed room house with outdoor deck area and back yard. The house is surrounded by large trees giving it a bush like surrounding and is in a closed court so there is no through traffic. Bedrooms - 1 main with queen sized bed, 1 smaller bedroom with double bed, and 1 with single bunk beds, 1 single bed and a trundle bed. This room has a small TV. Each bed has pillows, a light woolen doona, two cotton blankets and patchwork bed covers. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and microwave.

The house has a large pleasant living area with all entertainment facilities. There is a ceiling fan for the summer and a wood fire for the winter.

The surf coast in general

There is lots to do in Anglesea and the surrounds. During the summer there is an operating picture theatre, kids activities and of course the buzz of holidays. There are a host of restaurants in Anglesea and the towns nearby, as well as a pub. There is an abundance of craft shops, art galleries and other places of interest.

Torquay has a megatropolis of surf gear factory outlets, Apollo Bay has the pier and there are a whole range of patrolled beaches along the Great Ocean Road.

Or you can head inland and sample the wineries and cheeses.
