ABOUT US

On the property at Cottages on Lovedale we have three self contained and seperate modern cottages. Each cottage includes: -

*Three bedrooms with queen size beds accommodates six & up to eight with the double sofa bed in lounge area
*Baltic pine gourmet kitchen with granite bench top, stainless steel under bench oven, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and glass cook top.
*Two bathrooms, both with double headed showers and corner baths (one with spa)
*Two separate toilets
*Inverter reverse cycle air conditioning
*Slow combustion fire
*Flat screen TV, DVD/VCR, CD/stereo
*Gas BBQ and outside setting on verandah
*Each cottage has a security alarm system to protect your personal effects
*Keypad operated front door - No key required!
*Ample parking is provided alongside each cottage
*We cater for guests requiring ramp access and grab rails
*All bed and bath linen provided
*Additional blankets and extra pillows
*Ironing facilities
*Hairdryers
*Tea & plunger coffee making facilities
*Gourmet breakfast hamper on weekends, mid week on request. We provide variety pack cereals, orange juice, bread, butter, spreads, bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, milk, tea, plunger coffee and a complimentary bottle of local wine

The picturesque Lovedale area of the Hunter Valley is renown for its award winning wines from modern boutique wineries, for our fine restaurants, cafés, galleries and activities from the famous Lovedale Long Lunch, bicycle rides, to hot air ballooning to golf and more. Cottages on Lovedale is an ideal choice for your accommodation when attending major local events such as Opera in the Vineyards, Jazz in the Vines and A Day On The Green just to name a few.

Here are a few suggestions of how to make the most of your time with us in Romantic Lovedale.

Local Food:

We recommend you organise your food supplies before arrival at the Cottages as there are no shops close by. Cessnock has a good range of shops. Coles in Cooper St is open from 6am to midnight Monday to Saturday and 7am to 10pm on Sunday. Woolworths off Cooper St opens from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am to 10pm on Sunday. In Singleton there is a Woolworths supermarket off John Street and in Branxton on the New England Highway there is an IGA supermarket which are open 7 days a week.

In the vineyard area, there are:

*General Stores at Pokolbin Village and Hunter Valley Gardens Village
*Cheese Factories: Hunter Valley Cheese Factory at McGuigan Wines, Bonnorie Dairy at Tuscany Wine Estate and Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop at Pokolbin Village Resort to taste/buy handmade gourmet cheeses, fresh bread and deli items
*Many of the wineries have delightful picnic and BBQ areas for lunches
