Three spacious bedrooms that can sleep up to 8 people with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area that also opens out onto an entertainers balcony overlooking Melbourne's Crown Casino and city skyline. This apartment best suits families and groups of adults over 24yrs. Children are welcome.
LOCATION AND FEATURES:
Rivergarden Apartment is located diagonally opposite the Crown Casino with fabulous views of the city skyline. The tram line runs across the road which will take you either to St Kilda or into the centre of the CBD. It is only a couple of minutes walk to all that Southbank has to offer - restaurants, cafes, shopping, casino, exhibition building, conference centre, DFO outlets and major train stations. Walk along the beautiful Yarra River to the botanical gardens, art centre etc. You can also walk or jump on the tram to South Melbourne with it's fabulous shopping centre and cafes or the famous South Melbourne Market. Albert Park is also a short tram ride with beautiful walks around the lake, playgrounds for the children and of course the famous MSAC swimming complex with indoor and outdoor pools, huge waterslides and wave pools. The apartment building itself also has it's own swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis court and beautiful outdoor BBQ area. Inside the apartment the configuration consists of a main bedroom with a king sized bed, second bedroom with two single beds and a large 3rd bedroom which has bunks with a double bed on the bottom and a single on the top and a daybed. We do have a portacot available for hire as well as a highchair, carseats and loads of toys, books and movies for the young ones. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable lounge area with a 42" flat screen tv opening out onto an entertainers balcony with outdoor armchairs to relax and read the paper while taking in Melbourne's skyline. Central bathroom with shower, bath, washing machine and dryer. PLEASE NOTE - There are no hand-rails in the bathroom or bedrooms.
ACCOMMODATION RATES:
The apartment will be available for bookings of 5 nights or more. We may accept shorter bookings if we have a gap available. The rates will be:
STANDARD RATES:
5 nights - $345 per night.
6 nights - $325 per night.
7 nights or more - $295.00 per night.
January - $375 per night.
Monthly bookings - $250 per night.
Weekly rental - $2065 per week.
Adults over 6 incur a $25 nightly charge (applies to anyone over the age of 17yrs)
PEAK RATES:
Public Holiday weekends - $395 per night.
Australian Open bookings - $395 per night.
Easter bookings - $395 per night.
Grand Prix bookings - $450 per night.
Spring Racing Carnival - $450 per night.
Christmas bookings - $395 per night.
New Year's Eve - $450 per night.
AFL Grand Final Weekend - $450 per night.

A fabulous apartment for a family. Everything is catered for down to toys for the kids.
Beds and pillows great and it is very central to everwhere you could wish to visit in Melbourne.

Very convenient location and a lovely apartment! It's truly 2 minutes from a supermarket and 5 minutes from Crown complex. Tram line to St Kilda and in to the city via Spencer St just outside. Furnishings all well maintained and Ms Julie Burton was most helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

My family and I stayed at the Rivergarden Apartment for ten days, this was our first stay in a privately owned apartment instead of the usual hotel accomodation. After staying here i will never go back to a hotel again! The apartment was absolutely perfect, very large, clean, beds were very comfortable and suitable for families with children. It was like a home away from home. Location was awesome, a 2min walk to the supermarket was very handy. I have also pinched some decorating tips from the apartment lol very stylish but practical.. loved it! I could go on and on about how good it was, i'll definitely be staying here when in Melbourne next!

An ideal location, close to town and trams to the tennis. The South Melbourne markets a 10 minute walk away (fabulous food). Plenty of room for us (3 adults and 3 young teens).The swimming pool was great on the few hot days, noodles and kick boards lots of fun. Used the tennis racquets and hit a few balls high. Julie was very helpful when we had a few little technical hitches. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay in Melbourne.

We stayed in the apartment for 6 nights amoungst were 5 adults, a 4 year and 12 week old baby. The apartment was spacious, extremely clean, quiet, confortable beds, modern interior and has a large balcony with a side view of crown casino & city lights. Great central location opposite crown casino, tram stop at the front door with a supermarket around the corner. Our daughter was pleasantly suprised & happy with the toys, board games and pool accessories which were all so clean and working. We would definetly stay here again.

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young kids for 1 week. The apartment was clean and the kids loved all the toys and movies that were there.
Location is excellent with Crown and all the restaurants along the water to choose from. Walking distance into the city and a tram stop right outside the apartment. The tram was very convenient but a little noisy at night, got used to that quickly enough though.
There is a supermarket literally around the corner which is open until midnight and extremely convenient.
I would definately recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to have the independence of being able to choose between cooking and going out to one of the many close by restaurants. Beats a hotel hands down! The owner was so easy to deal with and very helpful with any questions before and during our stay, thanks Julie!

Fantastic apartment, great location and friendly attentive service from the owner. We stayed with our 3 children for a family break and the apartment offered more than we expected. It was easy to get around with a tram stop across the road, the crown at the end of the street with a taxi rank when required and walking distance to all amenities. Thank you to Julie, we were able to create wonderful memories with our children in comfort. Highly recommend this property and will stay again.

A very comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with modern ameneties. Close to the Crown Casino, a multitude of restaurants and specialty shops. Walking distance to South Melbourne Markets, South Wharf which has more restaurants and DFO factory outlet. Just across the Yarra river from the City.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to a family or a group of friends.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 7 nights. There were 7 of us and it provided us with ample space and room. The view out was fantastic with the added bonus of the large balcony. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool and gym facilites that were also available. The apartment was lovely and clean and it was also a bonus of having a washing machine and drier available.
It was so close to the CBD and the public transport system is fantastic.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone and Julie (owner) was great to deal with and made it all very easy. What a great city!
Hope to come back again soon.

Just fantastic! 8 of us stayed here & loved it. I was worried about the hot water for showering 8 people but there were no problems at all. The apartment is incredibly convenient. Tram stop across the road, walking distance to free city bus, river, restaurants, casino, cinema & more. Our family included a 6 year old & an adult with a broken leg on crutches & we had no need to hire a car. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owner for providing such a lovely apartment well appointed, and for all your help!

If you are looking for a central location and base with easy access to all that Melbourne has to offer for business or pleasure the Rivergarden Apartment is fantastic. With it's well equiped modern furnishings and interior, convenient location opposite Crown casino and Southbank (tram stop at the front door), car parking and large balcony for watching the city lights you could not get better value than the Rivergarden Aparmtent (and the beds were extra comfy too!)

This apartment is fantastic. Wonderfully situated so that the CBD is a quick walk away, the bars of Southbank are a stone's throw, the tram is across the road and yet there is no issue with any traffic noise.
It is beautifully decorated and the cupboards are stocked with a few staples to help.
The owner is constantly helpful and is a pleasure to deal with.
I would definitely stay here again!

Our family group of seven stayed four nights and found the apartment spacious and comfortable. Great to walk along the Southbank and across the bridge to the city. The pool was well used and I would definately recommend this apartment to any family group wanting to stay together. Communication with the owner was very good and made the whole stay hassle free.

We stayed with our four children and we all thought it was wonderful. Very clean, and very comfortable. Very close to everything, the only transport we had to pay for was to the zoo. Lots of extras like floatation aids for those who can't swim. Our bond appeared back in our account 2 days after we got back. Ideal family accommodation.

my family of 7 stayed in this wonderful appartment. the hostess was very helpful from the first call right up to the last. we were amazed at all the lovely extras such as board games and many more I wont spoil the surprises.decore is perfect,pool great,location perfect with tram stop right outside. we had one in a wheelchair and access to appartment was great. lovely super clean, quiet,appartment will always stay there.

We stayed for 4 nights with friends and had a wonderful time. The apartment was extremely comfortable and the main bed was super comfy as well as an awesome shower. Lots of little extras to make it homely and it was a stroll accross the road to the casino and tram stop.
We loved this place and will definately stay there again next time we are in Melbourne.
