Prices are per room. 3 rooms to cater for groups, the Business and corporate traveller, family and friends of patients at the local Hospitals will love staying here. Located on the edge of Warringal parklands and close to the a wonderful array of restuarants/cafes and shopping strips of Heidelberg and Ivanhoe, our B&B makes a great place to stay. A beautiful English garden around the B&B, walking distance to the Yarra trails to the city and east to Templestowe.
We offer nightly rates which include breakfast and the option of self catering rates. Guests are most welcome to use our kitchen and cooking facilities.
Enter through the front door to find a large loungeroom for guests to use, gas log fires in the loungeroom and adjoining dining room. Down the hallway to the Streeton Room which has a king size bed which converts to 2 singles, a sitting room and a large bathroom with beautiful Nutrimetics products to enjoy.
Upstairs to the Withers and Roberts Room are complete with ensuites, 1000 thread count linen, bathrobes, TV and DVD for guests to relax and feel secure in. Austin Rise is very cosy in the winter with central heating and cool in the summer with evaporative cooling.
Austin Rise is 15mins from the CBD, a short train trip to the MCG, Etihad and Soccer stadiums, walking distance to Heidelberg train stn, Heide Gallery, Heidelberg and Rosanna Golf Clubs, a few mins drive to Latrobe, RMIT and NMIT in the northern suburbs.

Local Attractions

We are a short walk or few mins drive from the major Austin and Mercy Hospitals, the Warringl Private Hospital, the Heidelberg Repatriation, the many varied medical suites. Parking is limited and many of our guests feel safe to leave their car at the B&B and walk up and down to the Hospitals.
The Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre is currently under constrution and so our B&B is beautifully placed for friends and family to be nearby.
The Yarra Valley Wineries and attractions are 30 mins drive from our B&B.
Beverley speaks conversational German.

Heritage Significance

Heidelberg is famous for the Heidelberg School of Artists. Our Withers and Roberts Rooms with queen size beds are named after Walter Withers and Tom Roberts. The Streeton Room downstairs with a split king size bed is in honour of Arthur Streeton. Banyule Council have erected picture boards all around Heidelberg and Ivanhoe, on the yarra trail bike paths and in the streets of Eaglemont in memory of the famous artists. Heide Gallery is a wonderful place to visit or have functions in or around the gardens, with a restuarant onsite to dine in and a garden and sculptures to enjoy.

The Roberts and Withers Rooms are $150 a night per room which includes a cooked breakfast. The Streeton Suite is $170 a night bed and breakfast. Contact us for rates re longer stays.
We offer self catering rates of $110 a night pr room for the Withers and Roberts, $130 Streeton Suite a night.
