Description
Coomba Park is nestled on the West side of Wallis Lake 10 mins by boat and 30 mins by car to Forster, 3 1/2 hrs North of Sydney and 1 1/2 hrs North of Newcastle.
A newly renovated Kitchen and Main bathroom are a feature of The Lake House along with the HUGE deck that has 180 degree water views over Wallis Lake, Wallis Island and Forster in the distance.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything a budding chef will need (including a Slushy machine for the kids...and coffee machine for the big kids). There is also 2 fridges available for food and drinks.
There are 2 HUGE bedrooms comprising of a Queen bed and 1 single in one with its own private deck overlooking the magestic water and the other bedroom has a set of bunks and 2 single beds. There are two bathrooms and toilets, with the main one upstairs and the second one is downstairs combined with the fully equipped laundry.
All family members are welcome including the furry ones with a fully enclosed back yard to keep them all in!!
There is a boat ramp and play ground 400m from the house along with extensive walking tracks along the foreshore.
There is a General Store in Coomba which is open 7 days and offers fuel, papers, groceries and liquor to purchase but being a small store we suggest you bring your food with you.
Local Attractions
Dolphin and Whale watching tours are available out of Forster if you are keen.
Fancy a Surf? Surf Beaches are only 20 mins away.
Or do you prefer 4WDing? Wallangat National Park is only 15 mins away. Make sure you stop and look over Wallis Lake from Whoota lookout (also accessible for standard cars).
Maybe a bush walk through the picturesque Booti Booti National Park takes your fancy or maybe just taking the kids on a leisurely bike ride around the quiet streets of Coomba Park is more your scene.
You also can play Tennis, Swim at the local (Netted) pool on the lake foreshore, go for a ski, fish or tow the kids around Wallis lake if you have a boat.
Additional Information
- Minimum of 2 night stay at any one time
- Cleaning fee of $50 per stay applies in addition to nightly fee.
Price is based on family of 5, additional $10 per night for extras.

There is a "Baby Package" of Cot and High Chair available if required (you must make prior arrangements for these to be placed in the house)
