Description
The fully self contained Cottage is a convict brick built cottage circa 1840. The cottage was originally used as accommodation for the police keeping watch over the felons housed in the small sandstone jail which is part of the property.
The cottage is on the grounds of the beautiful Red Feather Inn, luxury B&B style accommodation and stunning gardens.
Located at the doorstep to Launceston and the Tamar Valley, and located conveniently close to the Bass Highway for access to the North West Coast, Cradle Mountain and Deloraine, the Watchhouse Cottage offers a charming and luxurious base from which to explore the north of Tasmania.
The Main Cottage
The main cottage is composed of:

Spacious kitchen, living and dining area
The cottage features a Veranda room with own bathroom which is detached from the main cottage by a small deck. The Veranda Room has double doors on the private garden courtyard, also accessed from the cottage living room.
