We absolutely loved this place. Such a quiet, out of the way spot, and yet handy to all that is King Street, Newtown. We loved that it was also a stones throw from trains and the quaint inner city village of Erskineville. LOVED IT! Walking along the back streets around this area showed why innner city Sydney is such a desirable place to live and be.
Facilities in Forty7Amy were immaculate. We couldn't have asked for a cleaner, tidier place to stay. We would recommend (and indeed have already) this as a place to stay in Sydney. Would love to come back some time.

The property was perfect for us. It was close to where we needed to be, plus it was only a short train ride to the CBD. It is well equipped and we greatly appreciated the air-conditioner during the very steamy weekend! It is a stylish and slick, comfortable apartment which is light and airy. When we are back in Sydney we would be very happy to stay here again.

My friend and me had a lovely stay at Amy's. We enjoyed the energy and quality of the place and felt at home away from home. It was great to have the little beautiful kitchenette to prepare our meals. Being from an older generation we needed help with the locking up and the stove - all very modern.

Forty7Amy is a lovely place to stay. I stayed for 4 nights and all my needs were met. It gives you a great taste of Erskineville living tucked away in a quiet street. You can hear the Sydney birds including the big steel ones too on the way to land at the airport! The planes didn't bother me AT ALL, but might put off the highly strung... best you stay somewhere quiet like Dubbo.

Impeccably presented, abundant frsh air light and greenery. Close to King Street, trains, buses cinemas and restaurants. Simple natural decor that is entirely appropriate and a most comfortable electrically adjustable bed. Modern conveniences to suit,including fbulous coffee, charming owners and its also very quiet.

What a fantastic place to stay. So close to all the things you need. Only 5 mins to train and great food and shopping. The property was just beautiful. Very clean and modern. The advantage of this property was the the self contained kitchen and the beautiful furniture in living and dining areas. A big plus also was the quietness and the ease of dealing with the owners. Highly recommended.

A great inner Sydney choice and one we have stayed in many times now. It is private, with a completely separate street entrance, it is very thoughtfully fitted out and decorated and it is within easy reach of rail into the city and also the King Street ships and eateries. Parking is usually readily available on the street, which is quiet and safe. As with anywhere in this area you can usually expect aircraft noise, but the airport curfew means your sleep will not be disturbed in what is a very comfortable bed.

My now husband and I spent our wedding night and the night after there.. It is honestly one of the best places we've been too. We wanted the buzz of Newtown without being right in the centre of it all and it's only a short minute's walk from King St to some of the best cafes and cocktail bars we've visited! Ideally located and extremely luxurious! I especially liked the mod-con's such as the Nespresso machine and deluxe air con as it was such a hot day! The outlook is sensational - what a backyard!!

This is very well presented accommodation - very quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is great with easy access to shops, transport and the city. You could easily self cater but the alternative is great eating within easy walking distance.

After some confusion trying to enter the property (due to emails going to my junk inbox) I found the flat beautifully presented and extremely clean and tidy. I would recommend anyone to stay here. The only downside is that there is no wardrobe space or chest of drawers so everything stayed in my case. This was not a problem for me but I think if you really wanted to hang your clothes you would be disappointed.
Lisa and Mark were very kind considering it was not their fault that I didn't get the instructions and I was sorry to disturb their time away.

The bed was very comfortable for back sufferers, the TV was usefully positioned. The kitchen/dining/lounge area was cosy and comfortable. If I were to provide some constructive criticism it would have been useful to have a desk and chair that could be used for more comfortable laptop use.

I'm fussy....I love staying in this studio, had stayed here a year ago and loved it but the property was sold and taken off the stayz site, I was excited to see it back on here, stayed for the second time recently, its a lovely apartment clean and fresh. Will definitely be back and have told all my friends about it.
We enjoyed our stay at Forty7Amy. The unit was very well appointed and attractive and was so much more comfortable than the soulless hotel rooms where we normally stay. The decor was obviously well thought out, the bed comfortable, and the well-tuned Panasonic TV a bonus for the 1 very wet day when we mostly stayed in. The location is excellent, with the train station just a short walk away and the cafes and restaurants of King Street just around the corner. The owners are really nice and very discrete. One small thing - a full length mirror on the back of the bedroom door would be appreciated and perhaps a small hairdryer for the bathroom for those of us with hair that need that extra bit of help.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here over the new year. The property is very well located in an interesting and eclectic area, plenty of eating options and close to public transport if you want to leave the car at home. The accommodation itself is really comfortable (especially the bed - fantastic!), light and breezy with a bunch of mod cons. Highly recommended.

This place is in a great area of Erskineville! It is walking distance to everywhere from Sydney Park, Erskineville Village, Newtown and train stations. Forty7 Amy is well presented with all the mod cons you need I can definately recommend you try this place out!

This delightful getaway place was the perfect retreat for myself and my partner on our recent short stay in Sydney. Handy to King Street, its shops and restaurants, but far enough away not to hear the traffic noise. Beautifully appointed with quality fixtures and decorated artistically in a comfortable contemporary style. We enjoyed the speciality coffees and the tilting bed, as well as tree-filled view from the living room windows. Access & directions were ably supplied by our hosts to our private & independent quarters. Highly recommended as good-value short stay option for 2 people visiting the city.
