The northerly view takes advantage of the warming winter sun and provides shade from the summer heat. The home is set on 14 acres, with a mix of open pasture, including a dam full of frogs and other wildlife, and remnant wandoo bushland. The spectular wandoo provide an all year round display of ever changing colours in its trunk - cooling greys in summer to rich sunset colours in winter.

Explore the 14 acres, allow the kids, the dog or yourself to run free through the pastures. Explore the hidden ravines and rock waterfalls on the property. Walk through the bush reserve adjoining the property, or explore the railway reserve with its unique and protected flora. Why not bring the mountain bikes too?

We are a Land For Wildlife property and we aim to protect and nurture our environment. Watch for abundant birdlife, kangaroos, possums and even microbats in the evening. We do ask you to keep your eyes on the ground when out walking - just in case you come across our legless friends!

Only 9kms to Toodyay, 25 mins to Northam and 35 mins to York. A variety of cafes and restaurants to choose from in the area, and a growing number of wineries. Art and craft centres, antique and collectables shops.
Stay for hot air ballooning, the Avon Descent, Moondyne Festival and any number of music, art and photographic festivals in the valley.

Bedding arrangement includes a queen, 2 singles (which can be joined to make a king sized bed) and a fold out double bed. The home is "open plan", with bedrooms opening to the living area - as seen in the attached photographs.

WE UNDERSTAND SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANT A ONE NIGHT STAY, SO WE HAVE THE SPECIAL "Overnight Escape" OPTION. THIS COMES WITH CONDITIONS:
~ special one night rate - just add $60 to the normal rate to cover additional cleaning and laundry requirements
~ only available on Fri, Sat, Sun nights at the last minute,ie, 7 days beforehand. Available Mon - Thurs at any time.
