Breakaway Beach House is located on the South Coast of NSW in the small town of Currarong - a two and half hour drive from Sydney, and 3 hours from Canberra.
Cosy enough for two & spacious enough for twelve, Breakaway is an all-year-round getaway that will suit a variety of holiday makers.
Recently renovated, Breakaway offers 2 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, deck and appliances.
Four legged friends are welcome by prior arrangement.
Our cleaning fee is included in our rates, not charged as an extra cost.
The House
Located 150 m from the beach and local rock-pool, the house consists of 4 bedrooms (sleeping up to 12 guests), 2 bathrooms, and an open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
The house has a spacious deck, overlooking the backyard.

The bedding configuration is as follows:
The master bedroom has 1 queen bed + ensuite
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have 1 queen bed in each
Bedroom 4 has 2 bunk beds - each sleeping 3 people (singled bed on top, and doubles below).
The Location
Currarong is an easy two and a half hour drive from Sydney, and 3 hours from Canberra.
The small fishing village of Currarong has no more than 400 houses, and is located at the entrance to the Beecroft Headland.
The Beecroft Peninsular has some of the largest cliffs in NSW & a wide variety of bush walks leading to stunning scenery. The Beecroft Peninsular is also the north head/entrance into Jervis Bay where you find some of the most beautiful pristine beaches in Australia.
Currarong has a general store & Zacs seafood cafe. The nearest supermarkets are in Callala Bay and Culburra Beach. For most of the year you can also buy fabulous fresh oysters from the local fishermen in Greenwell Point.
From Breakaway it takes about 20 minutes to drive to Greenwell Point, 25 minutes to Nowra, 35 minutes to Berry, 15 minutes to Culburra Beach & 10 minutes to Callala Bay/Beach. There are no street lights or heavy traffic through Currarong.

Fabulous house, big enough for three families, lots of space to cook, eat and relax. A very close stroll to the beach. Smart enough to feel a bit spoilt but comfortable enough to be able to relax. We had 5 teenagers between us and it was the perfect location for them, very harmonious holiday.

The house is lovely. Nice and roomy. Well equiped kitchen. Only recommendation is that the sliding door from the kitchen to the deck should be fixed. Someone could do their shoulder in on it!It is very difficult to open. Also the internal doors are really rattly when it is windy. Would allow for a better sleep in. Otherwise we had a lovely time. So close to the beach. We would go back!

We loved Breakaway! The beds are super comfortable and the location is excellent - just a short walk to the rock pools which the kids loved. There is plenty of room for everyone and the deck was great! We had a few afternoon visits from kangaroos which was very exciting! We will definitely book again!!!

We had a great stay at Breakaway - it's ideal for large groups as there's lots of space both indoors and out on the deck. As it's been very recently renovated, the whole place looks amazing and is very comfortable.
The kitchen is super modern and excellent for cooking huge meals. We will certainly book Breakaway again!
