River Oaks is surrounded by hundreds of acres of dairy and overlooking a horse stud River Oaks enjoys it's own direct access to the Mary River. River Oaks is just 4 minutes from the historic Kenilworth Village, and 35 minutes from Noosa.
There is a lovingly restored country farm house with a spectacular verandah overlooking the Mary River and beyond, 3 bedrooms (2 queen + 4 single beds), 2 bathrooms, and a serious gourmet's French provincial kitchen, French doors throughout and breath taking country views. The fully renovated farm house is comfortably appointed with classic country furnishings, clawfoot bath, a library, polished timber floors and rugs, a fireplace and is fully screened against insects. River Oaks is pet friendly (on application) with a fenced yard, a tree house for the kids and a swing, oh and a dishwasher and coffee machine to cater for parent comfort too! Thank goodness for Mary River Holidays.

Thank you for a beautiful relaxing stay. We loved this little house and so appreciated the cleanliness. Beds and linen were devine, we enjoyed the wild tomatoes down on the hill and the visit from the friendly bird on the verandah yesterday. I am sure we will return.

A great family time. Went fishing, canoeing and exploring. Caught some catfish, cod and an eel in the dilly! The dogs had a great time too. Pity the weather did not last, so resorted to a DVD-athon (thx) and a very competitive game of Pictionary. We even saved a bird who crashed into the window. Thanks for a great family holiday. PS love the swing, cricket pitch and river. PPS Mum loves the fridges, freezer, dishwasher, dream stove, washing machine and coffee machine!!

Thank you so much for a truely wonderful holiday. Everything was perfect and even exceeded what we were hoping for our 8 yr old daughter, and the puppy Comet - both got to run amok down at the river. For Comet his first real run off a lead and he learned how to swim. We really could not have asked for more from our first break in nearly three years. Thanks again for makng the experience of River Oaks available for us to enjoy. Looking forward to ur next visit already.

With a couple of relations from England wanting to experience something of country Queensland, we booked two nights at River Oaks on the Mary. On arrival at the property we realised that a week would have been far better - the house is so beautifully presented and the setting beside the Mary River is so special. We arrived with a heap of fresh local produce, after visiting the Eumundi markets, and were able to cook up a storm in that wonderfully-equipped kitchen. Memories of lunch on the deck looking out over the Mary River and dinner around the lovely big table will fortify us for months to come - we spent so long on the deck we started to see animal shapes in the creeper-covered trees along the river bank! In exploring the Kenilworth and Maleny areas, our English visitors were delighted to see a platypus, a bandicoot, and a goanna 'in the wild' and to enjoy the antics of kookaburras - they were stunned at the multitude of bird calls at Charlie Moreland park and thoroughly enjoyed our walks through the forest. In fact, they claimed their stay at your lovely house as the highlight of their Australian trip.
Top marks for your presentation of the cottage - it had everything we could possibly need, and your information in the compendium was excellent. So, congratulations on all your hard work - and many thanks for sharing River Oaks on the Mary with us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the only regret was that it wasn't for longer - but we will return.

River Oaks on the Mary is a lovely home that has recently been renovated. My friends and I and our children had a great time. As well as our 4 legged family members. The deck is an ideal place for a relaxing afternoon with some nibbles and a few drinks. The kids loved the canoe and played spotlight at night.
The master bedroom is lovely and comfortable. The house catered for all of us well and we will either return to this property or try Elin's other house. I've realised maybe a life in the country may be for me down the track.
Thankyou for a lovely stay.

What a fabulous property and lovely home, it was the perfect retreat which we really enjoyed. The house has everything you would need or wish for. The deck was great place to rest and relax and eat our meals looking at a wonderful view. The beds are soooo comfortable i slept really well and came back from the few days we had feeling a new person.
It was so fun to explore all the local attractions, so this property really has something for everyone - even your dog will be happy!

This remarkable cottage has every convenience you could ask for including an espresso machine! It has a fabulous verandah overlooking the green fields and we spent our days listening to the river rapids, the sighing of wind in the pine trees and the call of the birds. There is a lovely view of the countryside and the racehorse farm across the river. Such a wonderful treat for us city girls. We thoroughly recommend River Oaks.

We have had the most relaxing holiday ever. We have been down to the river daily and are very sad upon our departure. Kenilworth town is another thing on our daily list, and we will miss the shopping especially at Johanna Designs! Thank you River Oaks for making our holiday so special. Congratulations on the amazing house.
