Welcome to 'Karkawarri', a magnificent 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom property nestled into the escarpment at Kalamunda in the Perth Hills. Situated on 3,000m2 of land and directly bordering and overlooking the magnificent Mundy Regional Park, Karkawarri is your ideal weekend, short stay or holiday getaway. With room for up to 15 guests, you can accommodate single or multi-family holidays in comfort, or take advantage of the 'Eagles nest' bedroom and create a romantic weekend away for two.
Karkawarri is located just minutes from the township of Kalamunda, but exists in its own secluded bushland hideaway. Located in a heavily wooded valley at the end of Josephine Crescent, Karkawarri has magnificent woodland views across the valley and a breathtaking panorama of Perth city and surrounds. At night the view comes alive with a million lights across the expansive landscape.
During the day you can walk out the back gate and take in a gentle stroll through the natural bushland of the regional park alongside the winter stream. For the more adventurous, why not tackle some of the famous Munda Biddi track, Australia's longest mountain bike trail, or hike along the equally famous Bibbulmun track which starts nearby.
The Perth domestic and international airports are just 15 minutes drive away, making Karkawarri a convenient destination for interstate or international visitors.
The Perth hills district offers so much to do, whether you are a fan of nature-based activities, gourmet restaurants, boutique wineries or day spas. The magnificent wineries of Carmel and Bickley are just minutes drive away. The township of Kalamunda itself offers the convenience of shopping and dining and of course don’t miss the town markets on the first Saturday of every month.

Packages and Rates
Weekend Getaway Package
A great way to spend a weekend and only 30 minutes drive from Perth CBD. Arrive from 2pm on Friday and depart 10am Monday morning, giving you the whole weekend to enjoy - $875 for up to 6 guests + $75 per person for extra guests.
Week at Time Package
Take any 7 nights for $1,550 (up to 6 guests). Check in time 2pm and depart before 10am. Available all year round. Extra guests at $25 per person per night.
Casual Stay Package
Book 3 nights or more from $225 per night (up to 6 guests) - not available on weekends. Extra guests at $25 per person per night.
Accommodation is structured as short stay, self-catered accommodation. We have a strict no schoolies policy. If you are considering hosting a function at Karkawarri (i.e with invited guests) you must check with management first.
All accommodation requires a $500 bond which is refunded within 7-days of your departure less any costs you incur for damage or excessive cleaning. Guests must leave the accommodation in a neat and tidy manner.
