Stayed at the Forrest Retreat for four nights with my wife and two daughters in January to do some mountain biking and bush walking around the Otways. The house is clean and functional with an excellent kitchen and A/C and large clean bathroom. The bedrooms are nice and we were most comfortable. In the evenings it was great to put the barbie on and sit out and have a beer while watching all the king parrots and other birds fly by. Very relaxing!
Forrest is a great location and the MTB tracks are excellent and you can follow up your day on the bike with a visit to the excellent Forrest Brewing Company for great home grown beers and food. Forrest is also a nice 30 minute drive to Apollo Bay and just a bit further to Lorne for a day at the beach. All in all Forrest is a great place if you wanna "get away from it all" but still have a bit of fun and Forrest Retreat is a great place to stay and I'll be looking to go back soon.

Outstanding.
The cleanest, most well presented house I have stayed in for some time (we go away regularly).
The whole process was faultless. Booking-check in and out.
It was exactly what you said it would be and you delivered on promise in spades (this rarely happens).
