Guest Reviews

  • "A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Perfect for a weekend away. The row across the estuary to get to the house provides a suitable level of excitement and adventure to start a wonderful catch-up with old friends. Thoughtful design means that this compact house never feels crowded and the view from the main living area and the bedrooms would relax any stressed out corporate type in need of some RnR. The eco aspects of the building also made for guilt free holidaying - the self composting toilet didn't smell at all - quite a surprise. Mobile phone coverage is a bit patchy in Patonga, but this was in many ways a bonus! We will definitely be returning each year."

  • "A home away from home, quiet, peaceful, great spots to sit and enjoy the sun or the afternoon breeze, kayak was good to have but needed muscles to lift it in the water - was a heavy old one! Shame the hammock wasn't there, and felt like no-one had been in the house for ages (needed a dust!). Loved having the boardgames and candles handy, and the telescope was awesome for stargazing. "

  • "Our family of four really enjoyed our stay. We loved the water being right at our doorstep, fishing off the jetty, canoing along the river and lazing in the hamock. The house also had everything we needed for our stay and a great layout."
