Conway Beach boasts a beautiful sandy beach which at low tide extends to almost a kilometre to the ocean. Taking walks at sunset or sundown is a really peaceful and beautiful time. Kids can play for hours on the sand and when the tide is out they can go hunting for shells, crabs and a variety of other sea life. This beach is also great for dog lovers as they can go for a long run.
The beach has high quality BBQ facilities, covered picnic tables and very clean toilet and shower blocks. There is a fantastic play ground for the kids as well.
Fishing is also very popular with the Proserpine River located around the corner. There is a boat ramp 10 minutes from Conway and also a small one at Wilson's Beach (which is just around the corner). Note estuary crocodiles inhabit this area so caution is recommended. If you prefer you can always fish off the beach or try for prawns! Crabbing is very popular with some very nice and large crabs being caught in the River.
The three bedroom house is located one street from the beach and is about a two minute walk for guests. The lounge room in the main house is air conditioned, has a large lounge and dining room and very functional kitchen. The laundry is located in the very large bathroom. A washing machine is also provided for those needing to do some laundry. The main bedroom is also air conditioned.
The property also has a beautiful crystal clear pool which is protected by a shade cover. There is a lovely outdoor entertaining area as well as a BBQ. The fenced back yard provides a secure area for the kids to have fun and play all the ball games they want. A DVD player is also provided.
Upstairs (if required) contains two queen sized beds and shower facilities for any extra visitors. This area is not air conditioned however fans are supplied. PLEASE NOTE SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED.
Conway Connection is located in a peaceful and serene area, close to shopping facilities (25 min drive) at Cannonvale or Proserpine. There is a small shop at the local caravan park if any emergencies are needed.
Proserpine has a number of hotels all of which provide great counter meals and are family friendly. Airlie Beach also provides some great restaurants, night clubs and has a fantastic salt water lagoon for the family to swim in. There are also BBQ facilities provided and plenty of covered eating areas. There are numerous shops in the main street from clothing stores to a newsagency, tourist gifts, island cruises and a whole lot more.
