Exclusive vineyard stay on 38 acre Barossa Shiraz Estate’s luxury romantic and fully self-contained vineyard cottage, the Residence. The Barossa Shiraz Estate vineyard with serene surroundings and sensational views has evolved with the history of the Barossa. The 1840s homestead, originally a Cobb and Co stage coach, has been developed into two of the finest vineyard cottages in the Barossa, the Residence and the Willows.

Described in Vine and Orchards of South Australia (1920s), “the view from the veranda is very beautiful, looking west, north, and east, over valleys and hills, and vineyards and orchards, and the picturesque scenery is of a type of which one would never tire.”

Residence (2-4 persons)
offers a glorious vantage point over the surrounding vineyards, across the Barossa to the ranges beyond. It displays the elegance of a rich past with 12-foot ceilings, polished floors, leadlight windows, open fire in winter, r/c air conditioning and all the comforts of a luxury home. The Residence has a master bedroom with queen bed, electric blanket, and an ensuite featuring a spa bath for 2 with ceiling shower, a separate spacious shower, modern kitchen facilities, barbeque, outdoor setting, veranda, iron and ironing board, LCD TV, DVD and CD units and free hire in-house DVDs.

RESIDENCE BEDROOM & BATHROOM SPECIFICATIONS:

Residence has a gorgeous master bedroom with electric blanket, and luxurious ensuite featuring a large oval spa bath for 2 with ceiling shower and a separate spacious shower.

the Residence has also a double sofa bed in the lounge if you wish to book extra guests. Advertised rates are for one couple only, extra adult guest is $85 each per night, children 3-12 is $50 each per night, 0-2 $25 each per night with access to porta cot.

Residence & Willows combined can accommodate your groups of up to 10. offering a truly unique and exclusive holiday experience.

Vines & Loft combined can accommodate your groups of up to 12.

Residence, Willows, Vines & Loft combined can accommodate your groups of up to 22 offering a truly unique and exclusive holiday experience and vineyard stay.

COMPLEMENTARY FOOD & DRINK PROVISIONS (2 nights stay or more):

A bottle of Estate's wine, a decanter of port, bedside chocolates & welcoming afternoon tea on arrival. Full provisions for self-catering breakfast for the duration of stay including: eggs, gourmet bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, a selection of cereals, fresh local bread, orange juice, low fat milk, a selection of jams, butter, plunger coffee, instant coffee, fine assortment of teas and biscuits.

EXTRAS:
Gourmet regional food platters, Barossa wine tours, flowers, and in-room massage can be arranged at extra cost on request received at least 7 days to your arrival. Restaurant bookings can also be arranged.

Residence is located on Six Gates vineyard, Lot 294 Barossa Valley Way, Lyndoch.

If traveling via town of Gawler: Drive 13km from T-junction of Murray Street and Barossa Valley Way from Gawler towards Lyndoch and look for the Six Gates sign on the right.

If traveling via town of Lyndoch: Drive 1.7km from the junction of Gilbert Street and Barossa Valley Way in Lyndoch towards Gawler and look for the Six Gates sign on the left.

Ample parking is available off street, with some shaded areas.
