Find inner peace at "Tarrangower", a self-contained hilltop retreat on 77 acres, midway between Daylesford and Castlemaine. It is the ideal place of serenity and beauty to unwind from city life, immerse yourself in nature and reconnect with your spirit.
Tarrangower offers utterly amazing views of nearby mountains and forests with hardly a house or road in sight. The house itself has a wonderful feel with comfy sofas and all you need for a relaxing stay. There are three bedrooms in the house, two queen and 1 twin room. The master bedroom has an en-suite with a corner bath. There is also a separate bathroom with a shower. The garden is stocked with roses, buddleias and many other plants, and there are many walks to do within the property grounds. All who visit find it a spiritual, healing place. The newly installed spa on the deck lets you unwind as the sun goes down.... sheer bliss!!
Stays (minimum two nights) are available for up to six adults.

"Tranquility personified at Tarrangower. Great bush walks of surrounding area and big kangaroos hopping within metres of you sweeten the deal. Head back to the house, crank the open fire, light some candles and cook like a pro in the open space kitchen. Enjoy the intimacy while you devour your meal and gaze out to the countryside with its panoramic views. Take dessert and your glass of wine out to the balcony and watch the sun lower itself down. Pure joy. Stay for longer than just a weekend to really reap all the benefits."

Young family break

Our hilltop fortress is surrounded by hidden valleys, secret trails, campfires and unexplained mysteries - and of course it has a pool and a barbecue. Take Dad to the winery and Mum to the Chocolate Mill or just leave them in peace by the wood fire. It's up to you.
