One of the joys of visiting Melbourne is discovering the hidden gems down our lanes, streets and back alleys. Subtitled hip, handy & hidden, a stay at the City Warehouse is the start of your Melbourne adventure.
Unique in character, this original 100 year old red brick warehouse has been converted into an edgy industrial living space yet still retains the building's beautiful old character including a soaring ceiling held up by huge oregon beams and trusses, industrial windows, light fittings and polished hardwood floors.
Perfectly located in the heart of all the action just off Clarendon St Southbank/South Melbourne and less than a 10 minute walk to Melbourne's city centre.
The City Warehouse blends the old, the new, the industrial and the recycled. Consisting of a large open plan space incorporating the living area, kitchen/dining and a main bedroom with queen bed sectioned off from this large open plan the living space with custom built panelling.
The lounge room to the front of the warehouse has large 55' LCD TV and DVD player. The living area is stylishly furnished and includes a 2.5 seater sofa lounge which converts to a very comfortable high quality innersprung double bed to accommodate an additional 2 guests.
At the rear is a separate bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. A stainless steel kitchen along with Vintage Victorian railway lockers salvaged from Spencer Street station serve as pantry and industrial tressel table as a unique dining table. Skylights throughout the warehouse flood the property with lots of lovely natural light.

The City Warehouse is perfectly located for those exhibiting at the Melbourne Exhibtion & Convention Centre. A 2 minute walk to the Convention centre and the added bonus of loads of space within the building to securely store your products over the duration of the show make it the perfect stay for exhibitors.

PARKING - All day free resident and visitors permit parking is available out front of the warehouse. Guests will find the visitors permit to display on your vehicle inside the information folder at the warehouse.
The location of the City Warehouse is second to none. You won't need a car staying here because the city of Melbourne is literally on your doorstep.
Walk out the front door and you are metres away from Clarendon St South Melbourne/Southbank with its assortment of restaurants & take aways, Coles Supermarket, wine bars, clubs, Mellbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre, Crown Casino some of Melbourne's best cafes including St Ali also located in a converted warehouse space and Dead Man Walking.
Jump on the Clarendon St tram only metres away and access many of the sights and attractions that Melbourne has to offer all within a short tram ride.

CATCH THE TRAIN AT SOUTHERN CROSS STATION - Melbourne's major train hub, Southern Cross Station is 10 minutes walk from the City Warehouse over the Yarra and up Spencer St.
CAB - Be lazy and catch a cab to anywhere within the CBD with change from $20.00.
SECURITY BOND - $500 is required and refunded promptly after vacating.
CHECK IN: anytime after 2pm
CHECK OUT: before 10am
NO PARTY POLICY - City Warehouse is a smoke free venue and parties are strictly prohibited.
