A newly renovated 1 bedroom garden flat situated in central Newport, nestled between the beach and the inland waterway of Pittwater. A stylish and comfortable flat with huge open plan living / dining area, it is the perfect location for a break near the beach or access to the local yacht clubs or attend your friends wedding. It is a level, 5 minute stroll to the local village of Newport, with over 20 cafes, restaurants and the famous surfing beach, or 5 minutes to the local yacht club (RPAYC). Also a quick walk away is the world famous Newport Arms hotel with family friendly beer garden which is next door to the Newport Mirage for weddings and events.
The recently refurbished garden flat features a large open plan lounge area, with comfy sofa and flat screen TV, stereo and dining table next to the open plan kitchenette. The separate bedroom includes a very comfortable queen bed and ensuite. We can also supply linen for the sofa bed, a travel cot, high chair and baby gate if required.
Room rate includes all linen for 2 adults, including bath and beach towels and full range of kitchen utensils. A complimentary food hamper is provided on your arrival including bread, preserves, cereal, milk, coffee and a selection of teas. There is a Coles supermarket in Newport which is approx. 8 minutes walk. Please note the flat is smoke and pet free.
Local Area attractions and amenities
There is a plethora of activities nearby, or choose to relax and stay in the garden flat. Local activities include:
Water sports - Sailing, surfing, great patrolled beaches (in season) with rock pools, kayaking, fishing, hire a boat, take a water cruise (whale watching when in season, cruise up Pittwater or the Hawkesbury River / Central Coast).
Sports - Golf (4 courses within 10 mins), Tennis, lawn bowls, cycling or walking through the many local paths and reserves or head off to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park,
Cafes and dining - choose from over 20 restaurants and cafes - Italian, Thai, Pizza, fish and chips, Vietnamese, Chinese, Pub Food, French, tapas and excellent cafe's and takeaways.
There are local cinema's and excellent parks for the kids.
Shopping - boutique shopping in Avalon, Newport or Mona Vale.
Transport - car is 40 mins from Sydney CBD, or public transport is via bus (L90, L88, L87), or come via seaplane into Palm Beach!

If cancellation request is received at least 45 days prior to the booking your deposit is returned, less a 10% administration fee. If cancellation is received within 45 days of your booking the deposit is non refundable (unless another booking of equal value is obtained we will then refund all deposit).
