Description
Blue Roo House with spectacular views is situated within easy walking distance to the historic Kangaroo Valley village. Indeed from the moment you open the front door the impressive view will make a lasting impact. Set in a quiet lane, Blue Roo House has three queen size bedrooms with an ensuite off the master, a separate bathroom and toilet, a full laundry and a large kitchen. The dining and sitting areas face north with uninterrupted views to the magnificent hills of this beautiful Valley. From the living area walk through French doors that open onto the balcony with ample seating options and a Weber barbeque. Blue Roo House is furnished and equipped to allow you to enjoy a relaxing break away from the city. Grind your blend of beans and sit back and enjoy Blue Roo House.
When you are ready for some activity you can amble down to the village for shopping, visit The Friendly Inn for a drink and enjoy yourself at various dining options. Enjoy a walk to the Pioneer Museum Park but check first on the opening times.
Following extensive renovations Blue Roo House has been available to the public from September 2011. You may like to read what guests have said about our other property Ocean Break Tura at Merimbula on the Stayz site. You can be assured that Blue Roo House has been furnished and equipped to the same high standard as Ocean Break Tura. Neither property is equipped to accommodate animals and bookings including animals will not be accepted.
Descriptions of the house and comments from our guests
On opening the front door on the southern side of the house you will immediately see why we say that the view from Blue Roo House is spectacular.
On the highest level to your right there are two bedrooms with queen size beds. On the left hand side of the hall is the laundry and the bathroom as well as a separate room with a toilet and basin.
Step down timber stairs and you will be on the second level of the house. On the right is the master bedroom with a queen size bed and ensuite. Opposite the master bedroom is the large kitchen with another marvelous view from the breakfast bar. Even standing at the sink you will enjoy looking at the distant view to the north west.
Down another seven steps and you will be in the living and dining area. From this level you step straight onto the balcony with spectacular views from the west to the east.
Blue Roo House was planned by the original owner to reflect the design of a church. Now the wonderful views from the house have been enhanced by the addition of the cathedral windows above the French doors.
We believe that Blue Roo House has been furnished and equipped to a high level in order that our guests enjoy a country holiday that will refresh and restore. To this end we include linen and house towels to make life easier for you.
The owners reserve the right to require a bond for any booking.

We all had a great time at the beautiful Blue Roo, well furnished and maintained with great views and plenty of bird life (and an echidna) to share the time with. The place comes highly recommended from us.

We did have a great time in a great property which felt like a home away from home. Thanks for the fantastic stay - best ever in Kangaroo Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed the great open house with fantastic views, the peacefulness, the great coffee. Even teenagers were able to enjoy the view and the slow pace of life. My son could not stop playing chess with Dad. Have passed on your website details to a few colleagues at the office. We will be keeping you in mind for next time.
