This is a brand new 2-bedroom, 1st floor apartment (with lift access) and is located near the corner of Spencer and Hawke Street in West Melbourne. One block away is the North Melbourne village with stores and restaurants and 500 meters in the other direction is the North Melbourne train station. You can walk to Victoria Market and the Melbourne city centre (CBD) in 10 minutes or grab the tram which is even closer.
The apartment has 2-bedrooms and one central bathroom with shower and laundry facilities (combined washing machine/dryer). The kitchen is fully-equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove/oven and a microwave oven. The living area is compact but all you need for city living - it has a 2.5-seater sofa bed and contains a flatscreen LCD television and DVD/CD player. There is a dining table with seating for 4 people and a table with 2 chairs on the large balcony that gets lovely afternoon sun and overlooks the street (still quite quiet). Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and large windows with natural light but good blackout blinds.

Living Room - 1 x sofa bed (linen - $30 charge).
There is a porta-cot and high chair for use by little people.

West Melbourne is very close to the Melbourne CBD and has easy access to the train (North Melbourne train station is 500 meters away) with direct access into the city (in one direction) or Flemington Racecourse (in the other direction) or the city circle tram is free and is 850 meters away. North Melbourne Village is 1 block away (Errol St) where you can get a famous Melbourne coffee, have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Queen Victoria Market is 1 km away so an easy 8-10 minute walk. Etihad Stadium is 1.5 km away so you can leave the car at home and walk to the game or concert. In under 15 minutes you will be in the city at Southern Cross Train Station, the free city circle tram, Crown Casino, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centres, the Yarra River, Victoria Harbour, the Docklands precinct, including Harbour Town for shopping, the Ice House for skating or New Quay for some amazing restaurants.
Melbourne City Centre - CBD only 10 minute walk away, or the tram is 850 meters away if you want an even easier way into the city.
Docklands Precinct - harbourside restaurants & retail outlets is 1 km away and has everything you need for shopping and eating.
