Beautiful Newell Beach is know as a tropical paradise, as well as one of the great fishing spots in the north. Newell beach is situated at the mouth of the Mossman River and has a jetty and a boat ramp for those who like to fish.
Hidaway is a 3 bedroom house with polished timber floors through out, a large flat screen tv, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 3rd bedroom has a single and bunk bed which bottom bed can unfold to a queen also. There is also a cot if required.
All 3 bedrooms are airconditioned as well as the lounge kitchen and dining area
The salt water pool has walk in access and is a large fenced area which is ideal for a family bbq, or letting the kids play while you enjoy your swim.
The garage which is part of the house, has a remote control rollar door and an area large enough for three cars to park or just keep rollar door closed for extra play area for children. There is also an extra car port next to the pool for another two cars or a boat.
This is a comfortable and pieceful location great for families.
Attractions
Newell Beach is close to many attractions such as the popular Port Douglas markets which are on every Sunday morning. Mossman has it's own market on Saturday mornings.
Mossman Gorge, daintree and Cape Tribulation are all only a short drive away, as well some local wineries.
There are many charter boats which go out to the Great Barrier Reef every day which include snorkling, diving, fishing or just out to the Islands off shore

It was a lovely place but the aircon in main bedroom was broken n the fan also wasn't working other than that it was an enjoyable break n all the comforts of home.

If you are looking for a place to take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you! Situated on a quiet block, this property has everything you need to unwind and better still, with all the luxuries and creature comforts the property has to offer, it is the perfect home away from home. Sue is amazing and will ensure that your stay is outstanding. You will love the visits from the friendly Kookaburra while you cool off in your very own private pool and the morning walks along the beach. With only a hop, skip and jump away from Port Douglas, you can have the best of both worlds, the quietness of the country and only a drive away from the best restaurants that the area has to offer. I will definitely return and would recommend this property to absolutely anyone. This is the perfect place to take your family away for that little slice of heaven. Hideaway is a lovely and confortable house for families. Ideally located to visit northern Cairns and Daintree region.
We had a lovely time, the pool was great to relax after being busy visiting the many things that are close by. And our children loved the films and chocolates that the owners left for us!!!
