La Maison Pacifique is unique in that it is a truly beautiful home of a high architectural and interior design standard which embraces the best aspects of truly beautiful, yet comfortable beachside living. It is a personal home, but with a resort feel, filled with treasures and photos from travels to inspire and high quality design elements to delight. An holistic approach was taken in furnishing this home - which is evident in its feeling of calm confidence. You will relish the little extras not normally found in holiday rentals and will enjoy discovering the design surprises dotted throughout.

No expense has been spared with marble bathrooms, heated spa, lap pool, spacious kitchen with European appliances, gas hob, electric oven, steam oven, convection microwave / combination oven and built in cappuccino machine.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of extras - again, not your normal holiday let - and includes a plumbed in fridge and some great cookbooks for inspiring budding Master chefs. Try the Donna Hay Chocolate Brownies with Raspberries - all the equipment is there for this great, simple recipe which is a delicious (and decadent)!

Nestled in Casuarina between the coastal towns of Cabarita Beach, Salt Village and Kingscliff (all with patrolled beaches) there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, boutiques and outdoor activities in all directions. Take surf lessons (great fun and plenty of laughs! Speak to Josh at in2surf), fish in the ocean or on the rivers (bait stores at nearby Cabarita), hire some bikes (try Jeff at Cabarita Beach Cycles - the boardwalk along the seafront is perfect for bike riders), jog along the boardwalk through to Cabarita or Kingscliff, go Horse-riding at Byron Bay, kayak nearby at Kingscliff and Cabarita,swim in the "warm" Cabarita Lakes, visit one of the many golf courses in the region or enjoy the local markets which are in different locations each weekend. Breakfast at Blue Moon Cafe at Cabarita is a must - oh and don't forget the cream lamingtons or the amazing selection of vanilla slices (and really great pies and bread) next door at Caba Bakehouse.
Take the spectacular 45 minute drive to Byron Bay and its quaint neighbouring towns (Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are our favourites), or, head north to the golden sands and theme parks of the Gold Coast, shopping at Robina Town Centre or shopping outlet hub Harbourtown at Helensvale or spend time at the world renowned Surfers Paradise beaches.

"Our aim has always been to ensure that all holiday-makers at La Maison Pacifique are encouraged, through their beautiful surrounds, to enjoy their well-earned break in a peaceful, luxury setting.
The vision of the owners for La Maison Pacifique was that the house needed to be a place where people can relax if they wish, but also have all the mod-cons at their fingertips. The owners are busy people, (as we all are!) and this house is their beach front haven.
They wanted a designer look, but without the "sameness" or "too perfect" aspects, so there are elements of fun and whimsical matched in with the practical. Inspiration came from the ever-present sound of the waves across the boardwalk and the sights of the Pacific Ocean, whilst adding in touches of the exotic. La Maison Pacifique is all about personalised luxury - a true resort-type setting - with unexpected extras.
As you walk in, there is a sense of calm and order which enables all guests to immediately relax and feel that their holiday has truly begun!
There are many "chill-out" zones, allowing all guests to either congregate in small groups or to have their own space. And yet, there is still space for all (up to) 10 guests to gather around the expansive caesar stone table in the dining room or large recycled timber table on the outdoor entertaining deck. The family that plays together stays together: we surfed and swam; we biked south on the boardwalk to Cabarita Beach and north to Kingscliff; we played Monopoly, Scrabble and card games at night, listening to sounds of the surf. Our beds were all so comfortable and peaceful and the living spaces so beautifully furnished. It just felt like a home away from home. Di, your interior design 'story' connects us to all five senses in an inspiring way! The pictures (whilst impressive!) don't do the house, interior design and setting full justice! Love the way you have blended a beach feel with a touch of the exotic. Lots of fun, funky surprises (love those white/red ball chairs, the hanging chair and the Le Corbussier-style chaise in the main bedroom!) The house is just SO close to the beach and the walks along both the beach and the boardwalk were a real highlight for us all! Loved our long walks to Salt and Cabarita (with the obligatory cool drink/coffee at the end). Fantastic location. This truly is a 'Peaceful House.' More than that, it is also the 'Beautiful House.'
