WHAT TO DO
. simply relax , fish, read, swim
. take a walk to the nearby waterhole. Short , but rugged walk, approximately 1km. Wear shoes with grip
. order a lazy weekend catering package, or perhaps combine a mini hamper with a boat trip to lunch
. prebook a self drive hire boat, no license required ( they travel very slowly ) & explore the nearby river beaches, Bar Island & Spencer.


WHAT TO BRING
. favourite CDs, DVDs, reading material
. hooks, bait, sinkers for fishing
. toiletries, personal belongings including swimming costume, & shoes with grip
. personal repellant , sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses
. food & beverage ( or order a catering package, stocked into fridge before you arrive, there are no shops )

TRANSPORT

Just a reminder that ‘SERENITY’ is BOAT ACCESS ONLY. There are absolutely no roads to the property, which does make getting there part of the adventure!

FROM SYDNEY:- travel north along the Pacific Highway & F3 Freeway, crossing the Hawkesbury River & immediately take the Brooklyn exit. Come back over the river on the Pacific Highway 83 bridge & turn directly in to Kangaroo Point for your water taxi pick up. Allow an hour by car from Sydney, and in peak periods add 30 minutes.

WATER TAXI:- advance bookings essential, best to also pre book return trip in advance , pick up at Kangaroo Point, located between F3 freeway & Brooklyn Rd

HIRE A SELF DRIVE RUNABOUT:- Private pontoon at SERENITY . Book a return taxi transfer & 48 hour hireboat package. Your boat will be at the SERENITY jetty waiting and you will travel upriver in comfort with your belongings.

OWN BOAT:-up to 20' suitable. Private pontoon.
