People are wary at present about a visit to the Mountains as a result of the fires that recently impacted upon a relatively small area of the urbanised mountains. Be assured that all of the major tourist venues are open and were unaffected by the recent fires. Jenolan Valley View is ideally located in a mostly rural part of the mountains that has been unaffected by fire in living memory because although it looks out over the mountain bushland it is surrounded by a much less fire prone environment.

Stayz will send you an automated response immediately after making the request. The request is forwarded to me and then I will send you back the exact pricing and details for hiring.
If you send through a request and do not hear from us then please check your junk mail folder if you have one as we often find that with many people, for some reason, our responses are redirected to this folder.

Please be aware that we do not let the house to groups with children who can not swim as the pool and dam are not fenced and are both close to the house.

From $35 /person/night (2 night min stay)
Attention last minute mid week travellers - our weekend bookings are for large groups and families but if you have a small group of 3 or more going to Jenolan caves mid week then this is one of the best places in Australia to spend a couple of nights with your partner or friends. The per person price for last minute midweek small groups is less than in a hostel. Use the booking request facility below to get the contact number and text or call if the request is urgent and intended for the next few days. Otherwise use the email contact below and we will get back to you asap.
Please note that you do need your own transport for our accommodation as we are 12 kms from the closest rail station.

It is an ideal location to come to the afternoon before you go to the caves. Spend the afternoon by the pool taking in the wonderful sunset. You will be up and at the caves before most have left the mountains, you can then use the rest of the day to visit Kanangra Walls near the caves. Do this while the Katoomba based visitors are traveling back to their hostels. Stay the night after you visit the caves for a place you will never forget. Contact us for a special price on a midweek stay.

Jenolan Valley View is ideally placed to see all of the attractions in the Blue Mountains while immersed in rural splendor removed from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist centers.
Jenolan Valley view is a shared house with a large kitchen, dining, lounge and games room. One room has an ensuite and the other rooms use a shared bathroom. Each room is locked with private access.

At Jenolan Valley View we wish to provide couples and families with a fantastic venue to stay, in the middle of wonderful places to visit. It is our desire to provide this at the best price possible. We love this district and know that your family will fall in love with it too. We hope that you come back time and time again.

Jenolan Valley View is ideally positioned part way along the famous Greater Blue Mountains Tourist Drive. It is near the start of Jenolan Caves road being rated one of the top 5 road bike rides in the country. Lithgow with its supermarkets and restaurants is only 10 minutes away. It is less than 2hrs from most of Sydney and 1.5 hours from western Sydney. You can get here easily after work on a Friday night and be ready to start your weekend first thing Saturday morning.

Jenolan Valley View is a 5 bedroom resort style home perched high on a cliff with spectacular views of the valley below. It is located exactly half way along the road connecting the major tourist centres of Katoomba (Scenic World and the 3 Sisters) and Jenolan Caves. It is an ideal venue from which to visit both of these world class attractions - that's if you can tear yourself away from the cliff top retreat.

Jenolan Valley View is one of those very rare locations that will take your breath away and leave you, your partner and your family with a lifetime memory. For the warmer months it has a swimming pool that spills out over the cliff. In winter you can sit around the combustion fire. The kids can escape to the games room and you can relax with a glass of wine while taking in the view.

We can supply all bedding or you can bring your own. If you want to cook your own meals then there is an outside BBQ and full kitchen facility. Town, with its supermarkets, restaurants and clubs is only 10 minutes drive or you might want to have a meal at one of the very charming local country pubs that are only a short drive.

There is perfect telephone reception for all mobile carriers from Jenolan Valley View.

Jenolan Valley View is rated 4.9231 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic weekend getaway We had a large group stay over for the weekend and I have to say that the place was perfect: lots of space, great communal areas and of course excellent views. Considering the weather I was surprised at how warm the place stayed overnight. Some of the shower fixtures were a bit old and worn, but otherwise the place was in good condition. I am tempted to return in the summer to make use of the pool and outdoor areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jenolan Valley View is Bliss What a gorgeous place, value for money and very friendly owners who were easy to deal with. We had 2families together enjoying a caves experience. Lots of room and great facilities. We only wish we could have used the pool, but not really a goer in July! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a group of us (10) stayed for 3 days celebrating my partner's 50th birthday. this is a great house, with great value for money. even though it was raining for some of our stay, we still had great views of the pool and the valley (the views were even better when it was sunny with the mist coming over from the valley), and the house was nice and warm, we only put the fire on at night, just to give us that extra winter atmosphere. lots of room for all of us with all our food and drinks for the three days. Greg and Kathy were wonderful, they brought us fire wood when we needed it, they were just a phone call away. Greg also drove us to our restaurant on Saturday night in his mini bus (12 seater) and picked us up (for a small fee). we can't wait to come back again, in fact I am planning a return in a few month for a week. Thanks again, Victor

The house shows its clever solar passive design with very little heating needed even on cold winter days. The owners were very helpful and attentive.Looking forward to returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I stayed at this beautiful property for two nights. The owner was easy to deal with from start to finish and discreetly dropped by to make sure everything was OK. He was exceptionally helpful with local advice for what to see and how to get there. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The kids of course loved the pool and games room. A great place to sit back and enjoy the view in very peaceful surrounds.
