A lovely spot
As a group of mums away for a girly weekend we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fallowfield. There were eight of us and we had a ball. There was plenty of room for everyone and with a stunning view, relaxing spa and short stroll to lovely bush walks and shopping, restaurants only a few minutes drive away we were in heaven!
I believe some improvement work was about to begin on the house not long after we left which would enhance the property, some TLC and general up keep was required but we will certainly be back!

Excellent escape in the mountains!
We booked Fallowfield for a post-wedding family holiday, and really enjoyed our stay! The property feels secluded - you drive along the single road heading out to Sublime Point - but it was easy to find, and when we needed to go to Leura or Katoomba for cooking ingredients, it was an easy few minutes' drive. We arrived on a wet and foggy afternoon, and the stove fire (firewood was stacked up) really made it a cosy and warm evening. The next day was a sunny day - the upstairs room with its cathedral-like ceiling was brilliantly lit up by the sun. (Note that this big room has no separate door - it's up the stairs and there is a screen wall.) Those of us who were up early took the 5 minute walk to Sublime Point to see the mist flow out of the valley - magical! In the afternoon we enjoyed the amazing view of the escarpment from the living room as it was lit up, and shared the deck with colourful bird visitors. by the setting sun, then in the evening we cooked in the very well stocked kitchen - and ate at the big dining table which was perfect for a big dinner. The box of tea was very welcome. (There was also a coffee machine, but no coffee provided.) The house was clean and well prepared for our arrival, the only minor issue was that one corner of the kitchen smelled a bit like a dog had been there recently (the previous guests brought pets?) In addition to what you can see from the photos, the house was also well stocked with board games and an excellent selection of books. The house was big yet cosy and felt like a home away from home. We would definitely come back the next time we stay in the mountains.

From the moment we arrived we knew our stay was going to be incredible. From the friendly management through to the unforgettable spectacular views.!
We stayed at Fallowfields & chosen for the peace, serenity & ambience and it delivered on all accounts.
Myself and 8 other girlfriends had a ball without children or hubbies for my 40th bday and it was unforgettable.
I do have to make special mention of the outdoor 10 person spa which we used to while away the late afternoon sunset sipping on champagne late into the night. Did I mention the backdrop of views was spectacular?!? It almost looked fake!
Will definitely be coming back & thank you again to management for allowing us to check out when we pleased and for also just being really nice & friendly.!!!
