Marys Place! We highly recommend this charming villa accommodation as a relaxing and refreshing retreat. We stayed for a week, playing in the Bathurst Croquet Club Tournament and not surprisingly found ourselves enamoured with Marys Place, looking forward at the end of each day to our sunset drinks and nibbles on the terrace overlooking the rolling green hills of Bathurst. The accommodation is charming too, comprising of a self contained, separate and completely quiet bungalow at the back of Mary and Johns home. The vine covered trellis and the large, rustic table underneath lends itself to a flop and revive ambience. Add afternoon tea or a glass of wine and cheese biscuits and what better way can you end a day of hard croquet. We look forward to being able to stay again next year and highly recommend this delightful accommodation to anyone wanting a break that will transport you to a Tuscan ambience in our own wonderful country. Lesley and John.

John and Mary are delightful people with an extensive knowledge of Bathurst and the surrounding area. The seperate dwelling was very cosy with all anyone would need for a relaxing time away.Off street parking and Malcome the dog made us feel safe. The patio was a lovely place to put your feet up and enjoy the sun.I would return if ever I was in Bathurst or passing through. Many thanks John and Mary for making us feel welcome, comfortable and safe."The girls"

Thank you John, Mary (and Malcolm) for a wonderful nights stay. The accommodation was lovely and the dog walking and evening drinks were the sort of personal touch that we wouldn't have found elsewhere. Overall it was everything we were looking for - good value, clean, comfortable, warm and relaxing. John and Mary's knowledge of the local community provided a interesting insight into Bathurst itself which we loved. Mary made it clear when we arrived that if we wished to be left alone (by her or the dog) that wouldn't be a problem. Thanks again.Highly recommended.

John our host was a pleasure to deal with. The accommodation was separate self contained and spacious. The kitchen was extremely welll appointed, the bathroom area had its own dressing room which could be closed off. Mary thoughtfully had the heating on to welcome us. Sun streamed into the breakfast area the next morning. Would stay again and was a great place to stay when visiting the kids at university.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's place. It's spacious, clean, warm, has a nice area to sit out-side and comfortable beds. We apprectiated the plunger coffee, the manderines and the fresh flowers. It's a place I would go back to next time.
