Description

Enjoy good old fashioned hospitality - you will love staying with us on our 285 acre working merino farm where our main focus is to grow fine merino wool.

We love introducing you to all the many delights of the country, while still enjoying all the comforts of home. Learn how to pat a sheep and give a bottle to a baby lamb. You are welcome to help us to catch and groom our horses and then enjoy a horse led ride. You are welcome to feed your food scaps to the chickens and collect their eggs each day. Pick fresh fruit from our orchard and learn how to preserve (as well as eat) the fruit. Go on a tour around our farm in the farm truck and catch a yabby or two for breakfast. Children can learn how to bake something yummy each day for afternoon tea. As you can appreciate, some activites are however seasonal and some will also depend on weather conditions.

A continential breakfast with fresh homemade bread and fresh farm eggs is also included in your stay. Accommodation can comfortably cater up to 11 guests at a time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had a wonderful time at Ba Mack homestead. Some of the highlights included the renovated train which was warm, cosy and well renovated; all the animals which our son loved feeding and playing with from the dogs to the horses. We loved the drive around the paddocks; ride on the horses ; the bonfire and the afternoon treats. Thank you Julie, Dave and Trish for making this experience special. Looking forward to returning. Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ba Mack. Julie, Dave and Trish made us so welcome. The 2 bedroom cottage was very comfortable. So much thought was put into the provisions (warm freshly baked bread for breakfast delivered to our door, port and chocolates and home made jam were the highlights for me; the kids loved the teddies in their bedrooms. The hospitality and welcome were lovely. Our 3 year old loved the trampoline and swing, while our 10 year old daughter joined the family for all of the farm activities. Personal touches such as tours of the property, pony rides, lovely coffee, invitations into the family home, and great conversation made the stay unforgettable. We will return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dave and Julie have been amazing hosts for us and our daughter (5 yrs). They even took us on a tour at dusk to see the roos come out. We stayed in the cottage that features a great array of amenities and has lots of charming details. With a splendid view, a nice breeze and lots of authentic farm life happening around us it was a most pleasant stay. We would love to return soon.
