The accommodation

The apartment is a quality, fully self-contained dwelling with private entry and parking. It's light and roomy, having an open kitchen/dining/living area with views of the beach, modern bathroom, laundry, a bedroom with queen-size bed and another custom-designed queen bed that goes into the wall space in the living room. Panasonic reverse cycle air conditioning, flatscreen TV and DVD, a fully-equipped kitchen including diswasher, and quality linen and towels complete the picture. A gas BBQ is available on request.

If you need to stay in touch with the outside world we have free wi-fi internet access for your convenience.

Your contemporary apartment will have everything you need for that special short break or a longer holiday.

The location

Austinmer is a coastal village about 1 hour by road or rail south of Sydney, 20 minutes north of Wollongong and only 10 minutes south of Sea Cliff Bridge on the Grand Pacific Drive. It has outstanding beaches, and a breathtaking, tree-covered escarpment backdrop. There is a great range of excellent cafes and restaurants in the area. There's a wide variety of cultural, sporting and recreational facilities available close by, great shopping in nearby Thirroul, local weekend markets, as well as many scenic drives to explore the wider area.

Hosts really nice and the reading matter especially about the area was really interesting.Hadn,t stayed in Austimer since I was a child in the 50,s so it was lovely to have such a beautiful place to stay and remember those times.Thank you for providing such a lovely and restful place to stay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Spot & Kind Owners We would like to say that staying here was so convenient. Hearing the waves at night was relaxing and the coffee shop is less than a minute walk. The main bedroom is very quiet and comfortable and there is a full size bed that is custom made in the living area (a bit hard for my likings). Bathroom is immaculate too. 2 mins away by car is Thirroul and they have Coles and IGA for your needs. There is a Thai place next door to the Commonwealth Bank (on the right hand side) in Thirroul that is amazing and the bowling club has great food. We met the Chef and his name is Matthew. Great chef with great service. As we are clean freaks, we would rate the place as a 8 out of 10. Because they are so busy during the season, it cannot be expected from us that the cutlery drawer and all the lounges be moved to clean behind. But this is something to consider to do every 3 months. The place is very very clean and there are games and DVD discs to keep you busy. We are very appreciative of the service and the only thing I would ask is, don't change.
