Exhausted homestay needing attention
Household displays interesting artwork and spacious living room. Disappointed with lack of cleanliness and property maintenance. Insect screens needed now. Comfort needs to be considered when offering holiday rentals.

I want this house!
Easy walk to a stunning beach, quiet relaxed little seaside town, close to cafes and quirky stores of Brunswick Heads and popular Byron Bay. Then a balinese boho style house furnished with gorgeous wooden pieces. Look out antique doors opening onto lush gardens, rest in comfy bedrooms with kantha quilts, hang out in the huge open living with well equipped kitchen and two seating areas. Loads of dvds, thoughtful inclusions such as umbrellas, mosquito coils, spare light bulbs etc. House looks run down from outside and the local coffee isn't great but everything else is perfect.

don't judge a book by its cover
I will be honest, when we pulled in the driveway I thought what have I done lol. But within minutes this magic house wove it's relaxed atmosphere completely around us! We had the best stay ever in the veranda. Everything we needed was supplied n even things you wouldn't normally find, the mozzie coils came in very handy. Short stroll to the beach. Only problem we had was we couldn't stay longer. Ralph was the perfect absentee host, promptly replying to my panicked email about no gas for the BBq ( look in the pantry there's always a spare lol) I will definitely be back, it truely captured our hearts â¥â¥ Jo, Mick, Johnny & Karen

We could not have been happier with out stay at the beautiful Verandah! The perfect antidote for a stressed out family of five. From the minute we opened the doors we felt completely relaxed within this aesthetic and tranquil haven... Would highly recommend to anyone - minutes to the beach and a bit of retail therapy if you need it close by in the Brunswick Heads village. A local resident was happy to lease out bikes at a reasonable rate for the entire family. Ralph was particularly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We serenaded to the serenity and it was a holiday we will never forget!
