Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet comfort Finding the cottage was quite a challenge, thanks to the roadworks on the Pacific Highway, but was well worth the search. This comfortable small cottage is perfect for a couple. Best were the fabulous views over the surrounding hills and to the lighthouse in the distance. It's totally private and very quiet and well set up. The furniture and artwork were an interesting mix of styles and it's a great place to relax. It's a good 20 minute drive from Byron and a bit confusing right now, but that will improve in time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful property This property was just beautiful, the location is a amazing. The views are out of this world both day and night, watching the lighthouse in the distance was fantastic. Jenny the host was just brilliant, even texting just to let us know to go out side because we had an amazing view of the moon - a lovely touch. She was very helpful and when asking for anything it was there the next day. The house itself is so pretty and very comfortable. My dogs just loved their stay here, roaming around the grounds. I would definitely stay here again and it was well worth the money. thank you Jenny for making our stay so special.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Little Slice of Paradise! We arrived at The Perch after a long drive from Melbourne, stopping over in Sydney. We got out of the car and couldn't believe how breathtaking the view was - green rolling hills and the lighthouse flashing in the distance. Inside the decor and simple luxury of the Perch suited us and our two dogs perfectly. Jenny our lovely host had thoughtfully put fresh coffee, milk and bread in the fridge - perfect after a long drive. Waking up and watching the sunrises at The Perch are one of the highlights of our trip - the birds calling and everything bathed in gold light is something we will never forget. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the whole area - The Perch is perfectly located close to Byron and Mullumbimby - which we fell in love with ( best coffee at Punch & Daisy). We were blown away by the amount of places to eat, get great coffee and the farmers markets that are on. This was by far our favourite holiday, our two small pug dogs had the best time too - great dog beach at New Brighton only 15 mins away. Thanks to our lovely hosts Jenny and Mark - The Perch is just a magic place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lovely secluded little cottage with beautiful views across to the Byron lighthouse. It is really nicely set up, with all the kitchen gear you could want. I was disappointed to find that it didn't have any fences, as I thought this would come under the dog-friendly heading. However, it didn't prove to be an issue for us as it is quite isolated and not close to roads. Thanks for a relaxing getaway with our dogs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We recently stayed at The Perch for just over a week, along with our two dogs. The property is incredible, it is so well appointed and impeccably decorated. It is clean and spacious and the bed is just so comfortable! The location was ideal for us, being close to Byron Bay but far enough away as to not feel like we were "in the thick of it". The kitchen was well equipped which meant we could cook our own meals, as well as eat out which was a great aspect of the overall trip. The peace and quiet were very refreshing and the fact that we could have our dogs along for the trip meant it was just perfect. We will certainly stay here again when we are next in the area.Thank you!
