Pavilion 2 at Broken Head is perfect for private holidays with family and friends, romantic honeymoons or a great location for small conferences or team building retreats. Enjoy the seclusion of this beachfront property with direct access to the legendary surf beach which extends from Broken Head north to Byron Bay. Nestled into the beachfront rainforest, this new pavilion style home is a private and secure retreat perfect for a relaxing escape. Listen to the sound of the surf and smell the salt as you hideaway in the sand dunes, a short stroll along a private access track, or relax on the day bed in the privacy of your own home.
The house consists of a series of inter-connected open-plan pavilions incorporating expansive living areas, decks and courtyards set amongst a lush rainforest-inspired and private Australian native garden. Beautifully blending the inside with the outside, there is extensive use of timber, stone and glass. Lourvres and massive timber bi-fold doors open each pavilion up to give a Balinese inspired look with a contemporary feel. This mixed with the interior palette of creams, whites and earthy pastels creates an idyllic luxury atmosphere that integrates seamlessly with the natural environment.
There are three en-suited bedrooms. The main bedroom features a walk-through robe, en-suite with external free-standing bath and private decks and courtyard. The guest room features private deck, sunbed, en-suite and walk-though robe while the south bedroom features its own en-suite and private deck. There are also lots of little extras to make your getaway relaxing such as books, games, bikes and beach toys.
Broken Head is the southernmost point of Byron Bay, the eastern most point of Australia and first to see the sunrise. Two hours drive south from Brisbane or one hour from Coolangatta and 20 minutes from Ballina, Pavilion 2 at Broken Head is nestled amongst beachfront rainforest with the famous warm tea tree lakes adjoining the property. Walk just a little way up the beach to the entrance to their serene and natural beauty. Wander south around the breath-taking headland to explore rock pools and secluded bays. The beach break is perfect for all surfers from beginner to advanced board riders and, during summer months, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. In fact, the area is popular for all beach activities including surfing, kite surfing, sky-diving, gliding, snorkelling and scuba diving. You may be lucky enough to see whales as they migrate north or dolphins and schools of fish frolicking in the waves. Visit the World Heritage listed rainforests, National Parks and marine reserves, all right at our door, to see the abundance of local wildlife such as wallabies, echidnas, goannas and native birdlife. Alternatively experience the culture and laidback lifestyle of Byron Bay, Bangalow, Lennox Head and their surrounds renowned for markets, art galleries, festivals and restaurants.
