Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved our stay here! Our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids) stayed at this property on the last weekend of July and we had a great stay. Comfortable beds, beautiful clean & soft linens & towels. Very well equipped kitchen & nicely decorated. By far, the best aspect of this unit is the awesome balcony, it's huge! It was the best play area for our children and the views of the ocean were amazing. We could see whales from the balcony which was a great highlight for our mini-break. The SaltBar is right below the apartment and it can get a little noisy, but for us (with our own noisy kids in tow) this wasn't a problem. Once the doors and windows for are shut for the evening you don't really notice it, it certainly didn't affect our kids sleeping. We were there over a weekend though, I'd guess that mid-week it wouldn't be as busy downstairs. We will be back, already looking forward to our next stay, whenever that may be! : )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beachside Bliss This was our second stay at 2222 Ocean. Perfect week-end getaway from Brisbane for a family. I highly recommend this apartment if you are interested in a family holiday in northern NSW. The apartment is only a short walk to the beach and a huge park with children's playground, with restaurants and grocer downstairs. The apartment is very spacious and well laid out. The master bedroom and large ensuite (with bath!) is on the opposite side of the apartment to the other bedroom - you feel like you are in a little retreat. The kitchen has everything you need to self cater - with a great view of the ocean! The apartment is beautifully decorated with some personal touches from the owner - plenty of space for everyone. I loved hearing the sound of the ocean and simply sitting on the verandah. Clean sheets and towels and nothing broken - impeccably maintained. The owners were friendly and it was easy to co-ordinate keys etc. Can't thank Denise and Lach enough for letting us stay at their beautiful ocean-side apartment and we are already planning our next trip!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent spot right on the beach. Great stay at 2222. Easy instructions and Lach a pleasure to deal with. The only thing I would mention to those wanting a romatic/super quiet stay is that the kids playground in the bar below was pumping all weekend and was a little noisy. Nothing too bad, just being pregnant, afternoon naps had to be had with the windows shut to block out the noise. No diffierent to a pool front room though in the middle of summer. It was a long weekend so no doubt much busier than usual for kids. Other than that couldn't have asked for more. Clean and the spot was awesome!
