    Stockton Sand Dunes

    Stockton Sand Dunes is a must for the daring 4x4wd that want a bit of excitement. Located between Newcastle and Port Stephens along Stockton Bright these sand dunes sweep dramtically along the coast for over 30km. The birdlife is prolific. Also enjoy shell collecting surf-fishing, walking, horseriding and sand safaris. Permits are necessary for4wd access to the sand dunes.

    Nelson Bay - Deep Sea Fishing

    Nelson Bay is the largest town and overlooks the port and busy Marina where you can participate in various waterbased sports. Game & Deep Sea Fishing. Located centrally near the marina a wonderful selection of cafes and restaurants. Great surf wear shops, furniture and local art shops and of course a great selection of touristy type shops. There are also local clubs and pubs to try out

    Bushwalk

    You may take a beautiful bushwalk through the firetrails off Wallawa Road to the foot of Gan Gan Hill and back to Wallawa Road. The distance is about 3-4 kilometers so take a drink and mobile phone with you.
