Cozy and friendly!
We stayed 5 days with our 3 years old boy. The place is great and comfortable. Glenn cooked amazing dinners and breakkys . We felt at home. The communal dining gave us the opportunity to meet all the guests and exchange experiences, felt like a big family. Will definitely come back!

Great ski lodge!
We had a wonderful time at Aurora. The lodge was very clean and functional and only a short walk down to the ski lifts. Glenn, the manager, made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were hearty and Glenn's evening meals were healthy and delicious. The kids felt right at home and were sad to leave! We are already looking forward to our next stay at Aurora.

As comprehensive ski novices, we were a little daunted at the intimacy of a lodge stay. Couldn't have been more wrong! Our fellow guests were great company and quickly shared heaps of insights so we could get the most out of our few days in the snow. Glenn is a natural host clearly thriving since his choice some years ago to abandon the big smoke for the clean mountain air! Delicious and nutritious food met us for brekky and dinner. Be sure to ski hard so you can handle the generous serves. The rooms were basic but comfortable, warm and dry. The lounge and fireplace a great place to relax. Really appreciated the absence of a telly: much better for conversations with a great group of people. We were fortunate that our stay with a three year old coincided with three other kids and lots of snowman work! Thanks for a great holiday. My girls have seriously caught the snow bug so we hope to return sometime soon!

We had a fantastic week at Aurora. Accommodation was superb and cosy, food excellent (restaurant quality) and Glenn the manager and chef very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Highly recommended! Matt & Kay

From the moment we walked in the door of Aurora, we were welcomed with open arms. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the same time as the President and the Booking Officer - what hospitable people they were! OMG Anita can cook!!!!! Absolutely to die for 3 course meals every night which you would easily find in a 5 star restaurant. The breakfasts were also something to write home about - all you could ask for! Great comfortable rooms. Such easy/interesting people to socialise with. And the added extra of unexpected entertainment on our last night was fabulous! Highly recommend Aurora as THE place to stay in Perisher!
