"Salt And Light" is a cosy brick home close to the beach and lake and yet away from the crowds. The home is tastefully furnished in a contemporary style. There is lots of natural light creating a relaxing and airy atmosphere and plenty of opportunity to breathe in the fresh sea air. The 3 large bedrooms are equipped to sleep 8 adults with lots of room to move.
Upstairs, the open plan living areas are equipped with dining table, lounges and a day bed that will truly enable you to relax in your home away from home. You may even feed the birds and watch a lovely array of Aust bush birds visit throughout the day.
Downstairs, a table setting, lounges, TV, DVD Home Theatre, Video and Stereo , along with a selection of games, books and videos and available for your enjoyment.
The modern kitchen is equipped with all your cooking and dining needs, with everything from a Microwave & Dishwasher to a Expresso Machine to allow you to cook up your favourite cuisine while enjoying the lake views.
The main bedroom has stunning lake views and contains a Queen Bed with parents retreat. Bedroom 2 contains two bunk beds. Bedroom 3 contains a queen bed. All bedrooms are also equipped with a built in wardrobe for your convenience.
There are 2 full bathrooms and a convenient outhouse out the back. The main bathroom also contains a spa bath.
Internal laundry includes a washing machine and dryer.
Outdoor Entertaining Area
In addition to the sun drenched front porch, a Gas BBQ and covered entertainment area are provided for those lazy dinners cooking the catch of the day, or for you to relax in while the children play in the fully fenced back yard. It is also perfect for drying your wet beach gear.
The fully fenced level backyard with double gate access is the perfect place to securely park your Trailer or Boat off the street, and for the children to play in a safe environment.
A Portable Cot, Highchair and Safety Bed Rail are available for the use of young children.
Linen including Bed Sheets, Pillow Cases and Bath Towels are not provided but can be hired on request. (Pillows, Doonas and Blankets are provided)

Culburra Beach has an extensive variety of services to make your stay at "Salt & Light" more enjoyable. The Supermarket (IGA) stocks all your holiday grocery needs. The Newsagent, Post Office, Licensed Bowling & Recreation Club, Service Station, Video Shop, Bottle Shop, Fishing Shop, Hardware Store, Playing Fields, Tennis Courts, Parks and multiple Take Away Food shops along with Boat Ramps all make your stay enjoyable.
Culburra Beach township is situated alongside the 14kms of beautiful Warrain Beach, Culburra Beach, Tilbury Cove and Crookhaven Heads. There is also Curley's Bay and Lake Wollumboola for you to enjoy. If you feel that you would like to get away from the crowds that you see in your busy lifestyle, or at your local city beach, then this is the place for you. A short stroll will take you to your own deserted place on the beach, far from the hustle and bustle, even in Peak holiday season.
There is also Long Beach, Cabbage Tree Beach, Calala Bay Honeymoon Bay and Currarong a short drive away (5 to 15 minutes).
Culburra Beach is an exceptional surfing location with multiple surf spots to enable you to take advantage of swell directions ranging from North Easterly through to Southerly.
If the swell direction or wind direction isn't favorable, a short drive (5 to 15 minutes) will take you to Windy Point, Kinghorn Point, Target Beach or Crookhaven Heads.
On a good North East swell nearby Currarong's beach, reef and point breaks spring to life with some exceptionally high quality waves.
If you are a keen wind surfer, the beaches and lake can also be a great place for you to fill your sails.
Combined with the clean water, beautiful location and lack of crowds, a holiday at 'Salt & Light' can be a surfers dream.
This section of coast is known as one of the best fishing areas on the entire N.S.W. coast. Culburra has great Beaches, Rock platforms, Bays, rivers, lakes and Ocean locations for the keen angler to test their skills. A little known bush track winding down the cliff from nearby Point Perpendicular leads to a fishing spot that is one of the only land based locations in Australia where Yellow Fin Tuna and Marlin can be caught.
Point Perpendicular Lighthouse
Located on the tip of Beecroft Peninsular, protecting the entrance to Jervis Bay, is the Point Perpendicular Lighthouse. The sheer cliffs, the power of the Pacific Ocean, and the stunning view (especially at Sunset) make this place one you will not want to miss.
There are walking places for people (and families) with varying interests ranging from fishing and snorkeling, to sunbathing and photography. You can find tracks on and around the beach, river and lake areas of Culburra Beach. At nearby Currarong, Abraham's Bosom Reserve has a multitude of walking tracks that snake their way over a large part of Beecroft Peninsula. These tracks lead to locations such as the Shipwreck of the SS Merimbula, Mermaids Inlet, Lobster Rock and Honeysuckle Point. There are also 14kms of beautiful Warrain Beach for those who like a sunset stroll, or early morning Jog.
Culburra Beach is located just north of Beecroft Head, along side several National Parks including Jervis Bay Marine Park, and has an abundance of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see Rosella's, Lorikeets, Possums, Pelicans, Bilbys, Penguins, Dolphins, and even the occasional Turtle or Whale.
