Retreat to the Little Gem for a very tranquil Highlands Holiday. Situated in the peaceful part of old Bowral, Little Gem meets every comfort yet is full of surprises. Be delighted with a complimentary cheese and local wine platter on your arrival. Once settled in, you will be enchanted by the vibrant Moroccan style decor, the original artworks and the quirky pieces.
Ever so cosy in winter with reverse cycle air conditioning or gas heating or let the sun shine in through the double doors and ample windows in the summer months.
The garden is both enchanting and secluded with fishpond, water feature, vege patch and screened private courtyard.
Large flat screen TV, brand new bathroom and very functional kitchenette mean you needn't leave all weekend....but with the availability of complimentary bikes and a flat ride to Bowral's cafes and shops, you might just be tempted!
The owners' property is nearby, however your utmost privacy is assured. You are welcome to use any of the seasonal produce from the garden and Bill-the-Neighbour's-organic-eggs are a must for breakfast - a complimentary continental basket is included in your tariff.

This little place is gorgeously decorated, self contained, with a beautiful little garden out the back. The facilities are modern. We were welcomed with wine and cheese and a warmed out house. We had a fantastic stay and Ed and his wife were wonderful hosts. We are definitely coming back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend escape to Little Gem. Easy commute from Sydney but feels a million miles from care. We were warmly welcomed by Ed and his artist wife Ofra who then discreetly disappeared, leaving us to savour the surrounds. A classy bottle of wine, cheese n crackers, fruit, fresh bread and salad, along with good coffee were appreciated and complimentary. The eclectic, authentic Moroccan decor, Ofra's art, quality linen on a superb bed and a wonderful Tuscan garden ensured our stay was memorable. This is a "granny flat" in a wonderfully quiet residential area only a minute or two drive from Bowral shopping strip. Can't say I saw much of local area as we were completely happy to stay in for R&R. Looking forward to returning in the future to enjoy the changing seasons. Ed and Ofra have thought of everything - thank you!

A peaceful getaway.
A warm and welcoming place to stay. A beautiful kitchen to cook in with a delicious selection of things to eat, we only ate out once the 3 days we were there. Very peaceful, a lovely garden view and a good drive to the town. Bring your slippers if staying in the winter, the polished floor can be slightly cold but having reserve air con helped a lot! A great movie collection, if you feel like being lazy and cosy on the lounge. The owners were lovely and very helpful.
Thanks little gem!

Jan and Jack
Comfortable, well appointed, friendly welcome.
Edwin was a perfect host - even came into town when we arrived to guide us to his place (tho' turned out it was easy to find). A welcoming hamper, fruit bowl and bottle of wine on arrival. Beautiful garden setting, very peaceful, cozy and a great base from which to explore the Southern Highlands for a few days. Highly recommended.

A cosy place to hide
A quiet, tidy place, with a nice garden and in a nice area. It is comforting and warm inside, and fascinatingly ornate. A significant amount of food is provided on arrival, so that I didn't have to pay for a meal the whole time I was staying, albeit due to lunch being provided at the convention I was attending, but breakfast and dinner were taken care of for the whole time. I highly recommend this place as a hidden place to stay and from which to explore the area .
