Lovely property, cosy cottage
This a cosy, "shabby-chic" cottage. The living room is spacious and totally made for reading on the couch, or going out on the deck and reading in the sun in warmer weather, and either way looking out at the pretty surrounding garden. The kitchen has everything you could want, and they even have a good range of basic food necessities on hand until you can get yourself to a market. The heaters work incredibly well, to keep you cosy indoors when it's too chilly out.
The small complaints are: appearance of mould in the shower (no bath) - this could be because they don't want to use the chemicals necessary to get rid of it or the stains. The bathroom and kitchen sinks are quite high, so not so great if you're short or would be using a wheelchair. The beds are a bit too firm. The two singles in the second room which adjoins the main can be combined into a queen, but they wont do do this for you, or provide the linen, so be prepared. I would also be prepared for road noise, as it's off a fairly busy road, which sees a fair amount of speeding traffic especially early in the morning and evening on weekdays. The property also isn't entirely private - it sits behind (though at some distance from) a small building functioning as an artists studio/nursery, and backs onto a farm (?) whose entrance shares the same entry lane and is not far from the cottage. I had a day where this was quite noisy and disturbing while trucks were moving back and forth making deliveries. FYI It's some distance from Bowral town proper, and even for walkers, just too far for a stroll.

We arrived late Friday night and were immediately struck by the beauty of the surrounding garden and the warmth of the home. On Saturday morning we discovered the most beautiful big windows from which we could see a different aspect of the garden from every room. simple and beautiful. Thank you.
