"We loved the house and the garden, especially the red canopy over the outdoor seating area. The house is quiet and cosy. Autumn in Luxstowe House is the perfect getaway. The red canopy of leaves and the gardens are a lovely natural backdrop for a cosy country experiance."... Pui-Sing, April 2013
"This house is simply gorgeous. We absolutely loved it! The setting is stunning, loved the artwork, the gardens, beautiful. What a beautiful house. "Thank you for a lovely stay! We had a wonderful weekend. Very much appreciated with the heater being on and beautiful flowers in vases when we first arrived! Beautiful and charming cottage. Fully equipped with everything you may need. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely come back!"... Kate, March 2013
"The house is exactly as it appears on the website photos but is even more charming in reality. It all starts with the drive winding through leafy fruit trees and sweeps around circular drive to the house. We loved the mixture of old and new, and greatly appreciated the artwork, books and antique furniture. It felt like visiting someone's artistic and much loved home rather than a holiday let. The garden with its abundent shade and active birdlife was the perfect place to read on the canvas chairs watching the ducks enjoy the fallen apples and plums- sylvan!
We would love to return in either Spring or Autumn to fully appreciate this little piece of paradise."... Maggie and David, Jan 2013
"We arrived late Friday night and were immediately struck by the beauty of the surrounding garden and the warmth of the home. On Saturday morning we discovered the most beautiful big windows from which we could see a different aspect of the garden from every room. Simple and beautiful. Thank you."...Helene, June 2012
