I stayed here in a group of four last June and it was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast provisions left for us were in abundance and delicious. A quick drive into the friendly Robertson where we were able to get anything else we needed. Such a fantastic, solid and cosy property with picturesque rolling hills (and cows!) around it. Hope to be back some day.

Just spent 2 nights at Laurel View as a party of 4 adults and 3 young kids and regard the experience as one of the best weekends away that we've had in NSW. For the very reasonable price that we paid all our expectations were met if not exceeded. We were well provided for in terms of comfort and amenities; there is no need to pack bathroom and kitchen extras (such as toilet paper, garbage bags, washing up liquid etc) that most holiday houses seem to neglect. The house itself is beautiful - extremely clean and fragrant; appealing antique/rustic decor; and with a beautifully landscaped garden. Highlights are: the fireplace that everyone else has mentioned, main bathroom with great shower; the property's beautiful and friendly horse and the general ambience of the house. We are extremely satisfied with Laurel View and the thoughtfulness that the owners have put into every detail of the house. Also an easy drive from Sydney and worth spending a couple hours browsing the town of Bowral. Highly recommended.

While Laurel view has retained much of the charm of 1930's/40's era it was built in. It is a private home that is light, warm, spacious yet cosy, clean and well maintained. With a very comfy lounge suite. Dishwasher. Modern oven/gas cooktop. Quality cooking utensils. Flat screen TV's n DVD players in the living room and each of its 3 bedrooms. Ipod/CD player. Two bathrooms. Both with hand showers. One with a long bath. Large fluffy towels n bath robes. Log fire. Comfortable beds n quality bedding. Washing machine/dryer/iron and BBQ.
Topped off with with a breath taking panoramic view. A rolling green valley of acreage as far as the eye can see.
We arrived tired city dwellers and left after just 3 nights feeling so refreshed. Having cherished every second in front of the fire reading. Sleeping like the logs for the fire each night. Enjoying the selection of the DVD's kept at the home. And the treats Vicki leaves. Both for afternoon tea on arrival. As well as for breaky each morning. Butter/milk/a selection of teas/coffee/eggs/bacon/sausages from Maugers Meats at Barrawang. Vicki and John's family business.
Asap, we'll be there again and again.
