Cross the road and you are on the beachfront reserve with picnic areas, childrens playground and large saltwater swimming pools beside Dee Why Point's well known surf break. Views from the unit extend all the way to the northern end of the beach, and overlook Long Reef golf course perched on the headland. Dee Why Surf Club operates lifesaver patrols in Summer and another surfclub is located at Long Reef, 10 minutes walk north along the beach. The Bicentennial Walk follows the beaches and headlands north and south of the beach. It is popular for beach fishing or prawning near the lagoon entrance. The Strand boasts an array of gourmet restaurants, cafes and seafood shops. Bus stop to Manly outside door or it's only a 10 minute drive. 10 minute walk to Dee Why Shopping Centre and bus to the City.

This bright and airy one bedroom unit has been tastefully furnished. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and single bed and trundle bed in an alcove off the living area, all with good quality innerspring mattresses. Children permitted.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking or take in the seabreezes and awesome views while cooking up a bbq on the verandah.
Cupboards are stocked with essential items such as tea, cofee, oil, tomato sauce, herbs and spices, foil, clingwrap etc.
The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, toilet and an internal laundry including washing machine and dryer.
The lock up garage is suitable for a small car.
Clean and well presented, the apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable flat in a great location straight across from the beach.Lying in bed at night with the windows open you can feel the sea breeze & hear the waves crashing on the sand. Nice safe beach for kids. Beautiful walks up to Long Reef Headland or south around to Curl Curl beach. Short walk up the street to a supermarket & shops. You can easily catch a bus to Manly from the bus stop in front of the flat or walk up to Pittwater Road for buses to Warringah Mall or the city. Great flat for a couple or a family with 1-2 kids.

It has a balcony with great views of the ocean (just as in the picture) and is suitable for a short stay or longer holiday. We had 3 adults and a child and so made use of the trundle bed, which was fine. The kitchen and bathroom cupboards were well stocked - ideal for self caterers. There is a supermarket nearby for groceries and a regular bus to Manly (10mins)stops right outside. We didn't have a car and that was fine - from Sydney take the train to Chatswood then the bus to Dee Why which drops you pretty much outside (30mins)! The beach is great, with plenty of restaurants for lunch/ dinner. The area is ideal for families. We loved our stay in Australia and this was partly due to this great apartment. Communication with owner was also great.We would highly recommend it.

It truly felt like home and everthing possible you may need, it was there. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The unit was perfectly clean and in a great location. The beach, shops and bus stops were all a few minutes walk away, and the public transport was reliable. Thanks for helping make our stay in Australia the best and look forward to returning."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good position, nicely furnished clean unit in an older block. The block could do with some work on the outside and the stairwells. Has a garage which was difficult to get a Holden Commodore in - both in width and length and the fact that the driveway outside was at such a pitch that the car scraped underneath at both the front and back.
