Great location in walking to great shops and cafe's, and public transport. Highly recommend plenty of room for our family of 6. We will be staying again next time we head to Sydney

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great location for Sydney stay Beautiful area with great accessibility to city, local shops, parks and walks to harbour. Well suited to a family or a couple. It really gave us a good taste for inner city living in Sydney. Apartment was really tidy and clean. Also good consideration of plenty of wine glasses, utensils and condiments that usually get forgotten about. Enjoyed our time there, just wish it could have been longer.

Buses and the train from Edgecliff provide you with brilliant transport links and having the Ferry Port at the end of Ocean Street is perfect. I can't recommend this Apartment enough.

I came to Sydney with the Navy as a port visit, with our salery we were all concerned about the high cost of vacation rentals. Then we found this location. The apartment was perfect for what we needed. It fit myself and 4 of my ship mates with much room to spare for stretching out. the location was top notch, right in the middle of double bay. This location was perfect for visiting all the local sights with a short walk or a quick jump on the train wich was only 2 blocks away. also there were many amenities in the imediate area including a grocery store 2 blocks away and a couple of nice pubs and resturants in double bay. We recomend the Golden Shief. all in all this affordable and well equiped location was perfect for our needs and recomended by myself and all my companions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a fantastic unit in a fantastic location. You are literally on the doorstep to the best that Sydney has to offer. Apart from the quality of the unit and the amazing location the defining feature for me was the customer service provided by the owners of the property. I am not all that familiar with Sydney but the owners took the time to give me a full run down on the unit and the local area. As a result my guests and I were completely comfortable in our surroundings and able to navigate Sydney easily. It was the time taken by the owners to go to this effort that resulted in my guests and I having our best Sydney experience to date. If I have a say in our next trip to Sydney we will definitely be staying here again.
