A 15 minute walk to the heart of Sydney via Darling Harbour, City Lights Terrace offers a unique Sydney stay experience. The building was constructed in the 1800's, to house workers employed in the many wool storage buildings in Ultimo and Sydney's Rocks areas. The house is compact, in keeping with its humble beginnings and has the feel of original Sydney town. It has been fully renovated and newly furnished to provide a modern, comfortable home away from home holiday experience.

The terrace has 3 bedrooms and will sleep 6 people plus an infant. It is fully airconditioned. The 3 bedrooms consist of 2 upstairs bedrooms - one with a toilet/wash basin, whilst the downstairs bedroom has a double bunk bed - 2 Singles. Both upstairs bedrooms have Queen size beds. Good quality linen, all bedding and towels are provided. A highchair, cot, bedding, and 2 toddler gates are available by arrangement. There is also a toilet/bathroom on the ground floor.

The stair case is quite steep, typical of a terrace house.

Other features are a private courtyard with a leafy canopy overhead, an outdoor table setting for 6 and BBQ. Double glazed windows have been installed in the front rooms to ensure the house is a quiet retreat for our guests. Attractive polished timber floors and a skylight in the new, fully equipped kitchen. A comfortable, cosy lounge with an LCD TV and home entertainment system. Wireless internet is provided free of charge.

The kitchen has a table setting for 4 and a 2nd table may be added to comfortably seat 6 people. There is no separate dining room. We have provided books, board games, and a selection of over 40 DVD's for relaxing after a day exploring Sydney.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from City home away from home! City Lights Terrace is the perfect city accommodation! The convenience is undeniable! To save time, I shopped online at Coles before I even arrived and had my groceries delivered to the house. I was able to walk easily to George Street, restaurants and corner shops. The house is perfectly decorated and wonderfully comfortable. The beds were super comfy and the house was spotless. I was surprised at how well set out it was for an inner city terrace, complete with three good sized bedrooms (two toilets up and downstairs) and a cute little courtyard for outdoor dining. Centrally headed throughout! Yay! I would go back in a flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant location We felt so lucky to have chosen City Lights Terrace.. We really appreciated the character of the house and that it had been beautifully renovated. It was immaculately clean and it was lovely to have gorgeous towels and bed linen included. It managed to accommodate our family of 5 which was quite a feat. The location could not have been better. We had fabulous few days visiting the Powerhouse Museum (across the road!), seeing "the Lion King" (only a few minutes away), strolling through China Town and exploring Darling Harbour (and it's fabulous playground1). It was only minutes away to the free bus service along George St to Circular Quay. There was such a great system of walkways outside the terrace which made wandering around with a family pretty stress free. Georgina
