A 15 minute walk to the heart of Sydney via Darling Harbour, City Lights Terrace offers a unique Sydney stay experience. The building was constructed in the 1800's, to house workers employed in the many wool storage buildings in Ultimo and Sydney's Rocks areas. The house is compact, in keeping with its humble beginnings and has the feel of original Sydney town. It has been fully renovated and newly furnished to provide a modern, comfortable home away from home holiday experience.

The terrace will sleep 6 people plus an infant and is fully airconditioned. The 3 bedrooms consist of 2 upstairs bedrooms, each with a Queen size bed, whilst the downstairs bedroom has a double bunk bed - 2 Singles. Good quality linen, all bedding and towels are provided. A highchair, cot, bedding, and 2 toddler gates are available by arrangement. There is one toilet/bathroom.

The stair case is quite steep, typical of a terrace house.

Other features are a private courtyard with a leafy canopy overhead, an outdoor table setting for 6 and BBQ. Double glazed windows have been installed in the front rooms to ensure the house is a quiet retreat for our guests. Attractive polished timber floors and a skylight in the new, fully equipped kitchen. A comfortable, cosy lounge with an LCD TV and home entertainment system. Wireless internet is provided free of charge.

The kitchen has a table setting for 4 and a 2nd table may be added to comfortably seat 6 people. There is no separate dining room. We have provided books, board games, and a selection of over 40 DVD's for relaxing after a day exploring Sydney.

All the lovely personal touches and the well stocked pantry were very much appreciated by our group. Rated 5 out of 5 by from City Lights We loved our stay at City Lights as it was brilliantly situated to walk to several major attractions in Sydney. The house was clean and comfortable and a home away from home. As a hostess Nola was fabulous and was very prompt to reply to any query I had. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and will do so to anyone requiring accommodation in Sydney

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Home to home Its home to home.Great location at the heart of the city and walking reach to all the main tourist sights.Very child friendly with all the amenities you can imagine.Nola is a perfect host and has catered for all requirements of families of all ages though stairs can be a bit steep for the older fraternity. However the location of City Lights outweighs everything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I stayed with my family for 5 days in the city lights and we had a very good experience. The house is clean, comfortable and very well positioned (5-10 min walk to Darling Harbour). The owner kindly provide a lot of things in the house like all the cooking tools and oil, potter cot, soap, etc... The owner is also very reliable and available if you need to. The stairs are a bit steep but we had a three years old child and security doors are provided to make sure that you can protect your child from any accident.I highly recommand this place if you want to visit central Sydney.Jerome

We found the house to be so well appointed with thoughtful little touches such as milk for our tea and coffee and spreads for breakkie and the board games were a hoot! The house was lovely and clean, well appointed rooms with lots of luscious bedding and cushions and the towels in the main room were so very soft!!Everyone in our group thanked me repeatedly for finding somewhere so great for us all at such a reasonable rate. What a positive experience!! I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends! We will definitely be back again to City Lights Terrace. Thanks again so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We recently stayed at City Lights Terrace and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by a lovely handwritten note from Nola (the owner of the property, accompanied by a beautifully presented box of scorched almonds a favourite.Surprisingly quite, despite the fact that its located a stones throw away from the City Centre and the bustling Darling Harbour and Chinatown, this charming and impeccably kept terrace felt immediately like a home away from home.Public transport was conveniently close by, although we were within a hop, skip and a jump distance to such attractions as the Powerhouse Museum, the acclaimed Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and the Broadway Shopping Centre. From the fully stocked kitchen to laundry facilities and internet connection available we could have easily stayed in.However after a busy day of exploring the surrounds it was lovely to relax in the courtyard with a glass ( or two ) of wine and finally retreat to one of the most comfortable beds Ive slept in.We are planning to return later in the year and I would highly recommend anyone to stay at City Lights Terrace.KindestCecilia
