We stayed during October which had the worst weather Brisbane has had for ten years. That said our spirits were not dampened due to this fantastic house. Very cosy and relaxing with fantastic views from the veranda. Easy access to the city centre, and the supermarket, pub and take away all with in a few minutes walk. We would definitely use this property again and would recommend it to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Palm trees outside the premises were a good landmark in locating the property and a welcome site after a hard day sightseeing. We wished we could have spent more time relaxing at the Mews but we were motivated to spend our time exploring the delights of Brisbane & the surrounding areas. The residence itself was clean and well equipped and created a wonderful home from home experience for us. Although away from the hub-bub of the City it was very easy to get to central Brisbane quickly. The nearby local Fairfield Gardens shopping centre was perfectly situated for all of our last minute emergency ration desires late at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mews and have recommended it to family and friends. The boys loved the Southbank Streets Beach & the fountains and we enjoyed the various eating places around the Arbour. Our other highlights were Australian Zoo, Moreton Island and the ScienCentre. We would like to thank Doug & Eve, very much for allowing us to stay and for all your help during our visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tired from travelling during the night from Western Australia, we headed to Annerley Mews to drop off our luggage early and were relieved to hear the property was ready for us. Not sure what to expect, we were very pleased. What is advertised on the website is exactly what you get. A lovely presented home with all the conveniences you could want including linen(a must for us) and lovely large fluffy towels. Close to the city and motorways but quiet. We loved breakfast on the deck with all the birdlife and views to enjoy and the lights at night made you realize how high up the property was. With four children aged 11 to 17, we had plenty of room and storage space to keep organised for the week we stayed. We spent a lot of time sightseeing but when we were at the property, the girls enjoyed the Foxtel. We have stayed at other properties before that don't reflect the websites information. Annerley Mews was lovely and we would definitely recommend it for any length of time. There is plenty to do in Brisbane and although we hired a car, the public transport is very close, a supermarket is within walking distance and the local hotel with well priced meals is a 5 minute walk down the road. Don't miss Mt Cootha, Southbank and a ride up the river on the citycat in the evening. We also enjoyed Dreamworld, Australia Zoo and Tamborine Mountain. Most delicious restaurants we found were 'Decks' Southbank and 'Enjoy Inn' Fortitude Valley (Chinatown)Great base for everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We enjoyed very We enjoyed very much staying at the house. It is quite centrally located ( for Brisbane standards ) has a magnificent view of the river valley and St.Lucia. The house is very clean and supplied with everything one needs for an extended say. Although located close to the main road the house is very quite and private. The owners are very nice , caring and helpful- made our stay a stretch of care-free joy. In conclusion a wonderful place that we recommend in the strongest possible fashion
